Hello! I saw that a couple of blogs have like a pinned intro post so I thought I’d do one of those!

I’m a dude (???) on the internet who deeply loves acting, writing, reading, singing, and shitting on the media I enjoy. Critique is the highest form of praise in my opinion. I also jump from fandom to fandom quite quickly so expect posts regarding a number of random fandoms and some half funny jokes about said worlds or their implications!

Currently I’m really into Ace Attorney, The Magnus Archives, The Simon Snow Trilogy, Baldurs Gate 3, and queer history, but there are many many other things that I love and call my interests at times!

If you want to have a deep conversation about the implications of a fantasy magic system or the infuriating wording of your favorite sci fi novel’s weaponry let me know!

i wanna see more art of trans men with boobs where the point of the art is anything other than the fact that they have boobs. i want the idea of trans men with breasts to stop being novel. i want people to stop perceiving trans men as only either having already had top surgery or always binding. i want people to stop assuming everyone with visible breasts is a woman or woman-aligned. i want breasts to become a completely genderless feature. i wanna be allowed to let em hang without being misgendered. i wanna be able to stop worrying about what to put on my chest every day for the sake of other people's perception of me without feeling pressured into getting expensive surgery. i want that to stop being the only two options for transmascs

This is sadly one of many reasons I likely will never really be “out” or “pass” as a trans man because I love my boobs. I love them so much. I love my body and I know that when I look in the mirror I see a man, but I also know that other people just don’t. And I can’t have my cake and eat it too, so I’ve practically given up on coming out or being out anywhere other than the internet where it’s easier for people to just assume you look masculine than in real life. I want everyone’s preconceived notion of “man” to include all trans men, not just the ones who look cis.

This is probably a long shot but it's been years and I still have this fic stuck in my brain. It doesn't exist on ao3 anymore but I guess I'm just wondering if anyone downloaded it or even just remembers it too.

It was a SnowBaz kid fic. I think it was called "Drops of Jupiter" after the Train song. The title may have been different but the song was definitely featured in the work. Simon and Baz never got together in school. Simon is raising his daughter on his own. The mother was either Agatha or an original character. She either died or ran away. I don't remember how much of a canon-divergent au it was. I think magic still existed as there was a scene that used the lyrics of the song as a spell.

Plot-wise, Baz is a pre-school/kindergarten/early edu teacher. He teaches Simon's daughter. She ends up bringing them together. I'm pretty sure Simon was a baker and had a new bakery he was trying to run. Penny was there, she might have had a kid too, but probably not.

I think there was a scene where Simon and Baz went on a date and the daughter was left with someone, maybe Lady Salisbury? I also feel like there might have been a burglary that Simon and Baz walked in on after the date?

There was also a scene where the lyrics to Drops of Jupiter was a spell. I think it was similar to the twinkle twinkle little star scene, but it also might have just put pretty decorations in the daughter's hair.

I know it's a long shot but I think just the knowledge that someone else remembers this fic too would be a comfort.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but as someone who reads Webtoons, the worst news I can get is that a creator has moved a series to be a WEBTOON Original. I’ve heard several bad stories about it, I will never be able to re-read it once it’s over because the ad system is literally impossibly janky and actively aggressive. I want creators to make money off their art. I very seriously do want artists to be compensated and I want to be able to support artists that I love. And if it is an actively releasing series of comics that’s wonderful! I’ll watch an ad to catch up and throw some money their way in some small way! But when it gets to the point that I can no longer read a 5 panel page of a story without watching a 30 second ad between every SINGLE page I don’t care how much I love the premise I can’t do that to myself. And now that’s the ONLY way you can read these series. Because WEBTOON OWNS them! They can’t do shit with their own work! But yeah. I get excited with everyone else and I’m always happy if the creator is happy but I’ve seen it go wrong for a lot of creators and honestly I’m sick of it man.

AITA For Only Tanking Peni?

I like playing Peni and I’m a “newer” player to the game (only 223 hrs but I’ve never played a shooter before this game). At first I played Jeff but when I discovered Peni’s gameplay I legit fell in love with it. I am terrible at aiming and die very easy, so having the option to set up traps and take damage up front while my team actually does the killing was extremely appealing to me. I also enjoyed the fact that I always have a fall back of my own ability to heal even just a little bit from my spider nest, so when healers are helping someone else I’m less likely to die. So what’s wrong you might ask? Well I legit don’t know how to play any other tank. That’s fine! You don’t have to be good at other tanks! Just play Peni! Well with the tank shortage that can be kinda hard to live up to especially in Competitive; as queuing up Peni and then having to admit that you can’t play any other tank after she gets banned has gotten me some very angry responses. I don’t do well on healers either in competitive play and anyone who plays Marvel Rivals knows there’s way too many DPS players already. I don’t really know how to feel about it. I know it’s just a game, but some people take their rank in competitive really seriously. Should I not be playing competitive if I can’t use any other tanks? It’s not like I don’t try other tanks. If there’s only one other tank on my team then sure I’ll go Groot or something, but it never goes well. Am I the asshole?

Apparently there’s been a lot of backlash at spirit because there’s been way too many clowns in recent years rather than new innovative characters.
