here’s a list of my favourite Stonegrot moments from ep 3 onwards because it’s Stonegrot Week and i need them to be ok in s2

•Deet helping Rian make a fire? wholesome, cleared my skin forever.

•when Rian was crying and reaching out to Ordon as he died, Deet held him back in her arms......sad boi hours

•their next meeting in the dreamspace (& they lowkey reached out to each other when alone)

•the height difference. that’s all.

•Rian worrying about Deet in ep 6, Deet being excited when she heard he was rescuing them, THE HUG AND THE NUZZLES, “yOU’RE SO BRAVE, I’M GLAD YOU’RE SAFE” OH GOD

•their heart eyes across the fire!!!!!!!! fire again being used in the context of their relationship!!!!!

•Rian was in danger of exposing his true horniness to Deet when he complimented her dress

•on that note, i’m pretty sure they nearly kissed

•when SkekMal attacked them in ep 7, Deet threw herself between him & Rian to protect Rian, which is a direct parallel to what Kira did in the film with Jen & SkekSil.......(canon)

•Rian’s “Deet! Are you hurt?” flimming heck i swear Taron nails the voice acting every time, he gets the ‘tender yet anguished and concerned’ act perfect, and both of their voices when they say each other’s name are always so gently soft and full of emotion aaaaahhhhhhhh

•I SWEAR TO FUCK, DEET NEARLY SAID I LOVE YOU TO RIAN IN EP 8

•when Rian was protecting Deet after her vision my heart was h u r t i n g

•“DON’T LET GO, I’VE GOT YOU” ,,,,,,,,,,GIGI.EXE HAS CRASHED

•hand holding, so pure, so beautiful, 10/10

•Rian is such a flirt, he holds Deet every chance he gets, and when she touched his shoulder in ep 9 i’m surprised he didn't faint from the excitement lmao

•THE SYMBOLISM OF DEET & RIAN JOINING THE DUAL GLAVE WAS INCREDIBLE, THE USE OF FIRE IMAGERY AGAIN, HE TURNS TO HER AT THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENT OF HIS LIFE THUS FAR AND ASKS HER FOR HELP....LOVE

•HE WAS TRYNA ARRANGE A DATE, AW RIAN BBY, AND HE WAS SO DEJECTED AFTER IT DIDN’T WORK

•Deet was crying when SkekMal had Rian, she was begging him to let Rian go....ooof

•when he dID let him go they were lowkey holding hands out of shot

•“STOP, YOU’RE KILLING HER” SOMEONE GET MR TARON EDGERTON AN AWARD, RIAN WAS TERRIFIED FOR HER, THE HEARTBREAK IN HIS VOICE AS HE GASPS AND SAYS HER NAME OVER AND OVER AGAIN LOOKING FOR HER AMID THE TRIUMPH OF THE BATTLE, HE DIDN’T CARE ABOUT HIS OWN VICTORY, ONLY HER WELLBEING!!!!!

•he actually went after her, sweaty, bruised, tired as hell, messy haired, and literally cried (there were tears on his face) her name in a state of being utterly heartbroken and distraught, until he found her in the woods with an expression matching his. this was the point at which my heart shattered: Rian lost Mira right at the beginning, and now at the end of it all he has seemingly lost his other love, Deethra.

i need them to be reconciled in s2, preferably with Deet non-darkened. hopefully.
