Just in case someone is curious, Lovely Pecan Pie isn't really meant as a dating sim. For me, it is more like a slow feeling, an idea, it is pain, it is hope, it is wanting to heal, it's being angry at people, remembering how you were hurt when you were small and naive, being lonely, being abandoned, wanting revenge but not being able to get it, wanting to grow, but also coping in youthful and somewhat violent ways. Being childlike, and being old. Being dead, feeling dead, but getting to live once again, because you deserve the chance to. Wanting friendship and companionship. Being critical of people and their constructs. It's about dirtiness and ridiculousness, but also vulnerability and wanting to be pure. Wanting to be perfect. Wanting to be alright, at least. And the feeling you have someone watching over you, who feels warm and caring about you, even if they can't physically interact.
