I’m sorry people feel the need to gurgle your name in their mouths for their own relevancy.  I’m sorry you fell for an incredible man and suddenly your relationship is a “PR stunt”. I’m sorry you cannot throw your huge annual Fourth of July party with the people you love and care about without being criticized for it. I’m sorry you wrote one of this year’s smash hits and for some unknown reason you are being dragged to hell and back for it.  I’m sorry on your first break in ten fucking years you chose to spend time with sick children and people continue to accuse you of ulterior motives.  I am sorry you have an extroverted, kind, delightful charm that people assume is a facade.  I’m sorry there are people who drag you through the mud for living your life fearlessly, unapologetically, and boldly. I’m sorry there are people who grew up without someone telling them if they had nothing nice to say to not say anything at all. I’m sorry some people’s life mission is to try and find something wrong with you.

It can be so difficult to stand up for yourself in a situation where you know every response will have negative feedback. I’ve always been so proud of Taylor for standing up for herself even if it wasn’t going to win her the popular opinion.

All of this! I feel so bad for Taylor. This is all being twisted and manipulated and people are running with it. It hurts me to see her caught up in this absolute mess. She always handles everything with poise and honesty. I guess only true fans will whole heartedly stick by her and believe in her. It is so sad that a calculated video recording that is chopped up, hard to follow and meant to lead you to a certain conclusion is enough to make some of you disregard all of the beautiful and wonderful things Taylor has done. It’s disgusting. I will support and defend her and not make her feel like a worthless human being. No one deserves to be torn apart like this.
