What is the Restorative Party
As the Trump Administration’s fucked up again and again, more and more segments of the far right have distanced themselves from the actions of the President and the MAGA movement. The most significant dividing factor in the American far right is the Trump Administration’s relationship with Israel. There are endless reasons to hate the state of Israel: Genocide, war with Iran, the development of mass surveillance technology used by ICE. But that’s not the reason the Antizionist Right hates Israel. In their minds the Jews — and, by extension, Israel — are at the center of a global conspiracy to breed the “white race” out of existence. One of these groups who are seizing this opportunity to push their Christofascist beliefs to a small army of chuds is the Restorative Party.
The Restorative Party is a self-proclaimed Christian nationalist political party based in the state of Idaho. They were filed as an LLC on October 3rd, 2025 by a man named Daniel Sapegin. The Restorative Party isn’t very active on the ground. They've held one in person event on February 16th, 2026: a meet & greet event at the Old State Saloon, a bar owned by Hetero Awesome Fest organizer Mark Fitzpatrick. Most of their in-person activity has been at a booth they put up every Saturday at BSU. They also participated in the God’s Country March at the Idaho State Capital in response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. While they aren’t very active in their community, the Restorative Party Instagram (which has been posting since July 29th, 2025) has found some traction within Christofascist circles. This page is exclusively made up of queerphobic/racist conspiracy theories and the worst reels your racist edge-lord cousin reposts.
Take the above reel for example. It’s shows a cropped version of a common GIF depicting the Great Replacement Theory. If you aren’t familiar, this is the idea that there is an international cabal of (usually) Jewish people conspiring to exterminate the white race. This is not a new idea; The Great Replacement as we know it today was Coined by french novelist Renaud Camus. In his 2011 book Le Grand Replacement, he writes that there is a cabal of global elites sending huge waves of migrants from Muslim countries into Europe with the intention of diluting the “racially” pure European gene pool. The idea of an ethnic replacement is has deep roots in the far right, where it seems all roads lead to Nazi Germany. In Nazi race science, race is the genetic and immutable; However, the concept of the Volk (or the nation) was fluid and prone to shifting. This cultural shifting was called Umvolkung. This was most famously used as the doctrine behind the attempted Germanization of the Czech. The Nazis believed that a portion of the Czech population were racially German, but had been assimilated into Czech culture after a wave of immigration from eastern Europe. This led to the kidnapping of thousands of Czech children who were deemed by the German state to be “racially pure”. This post by the Restorative Party is this theory concentrated. It’s just put through an American lens: Instead of Volk, our Nazis say “western civilization”, which, in their eyes, is in decay. One of the most important texts in white supremacist thought talking about the “ decay of western civilization” is Which Way Western Man by William Gayley Simpson, and, as you may have noticed, that’s the cation of the video.
This post from the Restorative Party’s Instagram page shows videos of queer Pride parades, Muslim people, and U.S. presidents on diplomatic trips to Israel with the Proud Boy anthem “By God, We’ll Have Our Home Again” playing in the background. This form of queerphobia has it’s roots in the great replacement Theory. The biggest boogeyman in the Great Replacement is the decline of white peoples birthrates, so anyone who does not participate in the creation of more white babies is actively engaging in the white genocide. So when they caption their video with the words “we will RESTORE America”, they’re calling for the eradication of the queer community. As for the antisemitism and Islamophobia, it’s so blatant that it would be funny if it wasn’t terrifying. It isn’t coded, there are no dog whistles; It’s telling you to your face the Muslims are coming to get you and the Jews are sending them. This is an open call for genocide dressed up as an aura-farming TikTok edit. To quote an Instagram post of theirs from December 5th, 2025: “Christianity has NO allies. Jesus is the ONLY way. Jesus is the ONLY truth.”
These posts put together give us a good overview of the genocidal goals of the Restorative Party. But, for shits and giggles, let’s take a look at their website, where they have kindly laid out the entirety of their platform. Their mission statement reads:
The Restorative Party was founded to give a voice to Founding Stock Americans who have been shamed, silenced, and pushed toward erasure. For far too long, our people have been under attack, our Christian values eroded, and our communities displaced. It is time to stand up and fight back. While we recognize that every individual is unique, we also share collective values—and as a party, we are committed to advocating for those values. Our goal is to restore the American way of life and reestablish a nation that is safe, secure, and prosperous for future generations.
This mission statement bears a striking resemblance to the 14 Words, the white supremacist slogan written by founding member of the Order David Lane. They just replace the white race with “Founding Stock Americans”, seemingly in an attempt to not come off as too white supremacist. This pattern continues in their 20-point party platform which includes promises to repeal birthright citizenship, re-segregate schools, ban all abortion, ban all pornography, and abolish universal suffrage. But the one I want to highlight most of all is the final position:
We love all our brothers and sisters in Christ, regardless of race, yet we seek to protect the interests and borders of our people. The principle that a nation belongs to those who founded it is as old as human history and rooted in biblical teaching. If God had intended all nations to live together indistinguishably, He would not have created distinct nations. We do not harbor hatred toward those who are not Christian, but we do desire to live among those who share our values. We are willing to work with others outside our party when our values and interests align, but we will not cooperate with those who seek harm against our people or the body of Christ. Our mission is to advocate specifically for the interests of our collective as founding-stock Americans—a principle that has been vilified and suppressed to the point where many feel afraid to even acknowledge our existence as a collective. We must stand up and defend ourselves before our children become a marginalized minority in their own nation.
This paragraph tells you all you need to know about the Restorative Party. They’re scared white men with a third grade understanding of history and a victim complex. However, this does not mean they aren’t a threat as they gain traction in far right circles.
The Restorative Party is riding the wave of support to openly antisemitic and antizionist political commentators. People such as Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson have exploded in popularity recently. Tucker Carlson hasn’t been this popular since he got fired from Fox News, and it’s because of his open opposition to the state of Israel. In a world where we’ve had a genocide committed by them live streamed to our phones and a war waged in their name, he has found an opportunity to put himself into the spotlight again. It’s a similar situation with Candace Owens, who left the Daily Wire due to her criticism of Israel in 2024. Then there’s Nick Fuentes, the thought leader behind the Groypers. Unlike these other ones, he’s always been a critic of Israel, but never made it into the political mainstream. That is, until now, where he is seemingly the number one boogeyman of the left wing media ecosystem, with his clips getting millions of views on places like Instagram and TikTok.
People fucking hate Israel right now, and for good reason: genocide, war, the fact it’s a straight-up fascist state… but these commentators don’t give a fuck about that. They just hate Jewish people. They’re opposition to the state of Israel is based entirely on either opportunism or antisemitic conspiracy theories. This is why the Restorative Party is significant these ideas that used to be relegated to places like 4Chan or Stormfront are out in the open. They’re being normalized in a truly terrifying way. This is the future of the Conservative movement in the United States. If we stay on this trajectory, I have no doubt in my mind that the openly Hitlerian policies of the current administrations will continue far past the death of dear leader. What political organizations such as the Restorative party show is that there is an appetite for American fascism outside Donald Trump. Does this mean that the Restorative Party has any real political power? FUCK NO. These guys are frankly a joke. However, they’re a joke with 200,000 followers on Instagram, and they are growing rapidly. It’s therefore valuable as a sort of holotype for the antizionist American hard right.
