Alright. Let’s do some finale theories. I have 3 hahaha let me know your thoughts SPOILERS

1. The “crossing over” leads to a new realm that VH created and they are all stuck there now and can only come back with their keys. Which Wally, dawn and Janet all left behind HOWEVER Maddie kept hers with her. So Maddie is the only one that can bring them back.

2. When the ghosts “cross over” it takes them back to the day they died. They don’t remember dying or the ghost world until Maddie finds them then they remember.

3. (I hope it’s this one) sort of a combination of the two. same goes that their doors take them back to real life and Maddie finds them and they can only get back with their keys. SO my theory is Maddie brings them back through her door and it makes them part of the living world again. And then season 4 will focus on getting the other ghosts out and back to the living world.

And I think when they come back they go through her door and return to living? Still delulu about that but I’m dying for a mally endgame

CRAZY THEORY BUT…..I think Maddie and Simon switched places. I think Maddie really was dead and Simon like took her place in the spirit world? I know this is crazy but it would explain all of her visions and her tie to the spirit world
