When I invited Amanda over to celebrate the release of Lover with the plans to follow in the hosting queens footsteps(Taylor, a seasoned professional host) I was unaware how long baking actually TAKES? Silly and ridiculous I’m aware. Anyways! After a night of baking(mishaps) that went into the early morning and pulling some questionable dance moves to I Forgot That You Existed and Cruel Summer- we finished!!!! The album and our baking extravaganza. Lover is full of every emotion in the world and it felt so real and true and love has never looked so good on you T! Proud of you as a fan as a friend as a woman. Taking ownership and taking names🥂

The post is kinda late (we’re Lover hungover) but I’m happy we got to celebrate this album together! I cant wait for everything to come!

taylor, your music has been the soundtrack of every new chapter in my life. lover is no exception. i began my brand new big girl job in brooklyn today. i blasted the man while walking from the subway to the office, to remind myself that i need to exude the confidence of a mediocre white man. growing up and moving out and becoming a real person in my 22nd year of life is every lyric of 22 (as you predicted), and i’m so happy that i’ll have lover to rely on just like i have your past six albums.
