Narrative
The stars twinkled above them, a backdrop of shimmering diamonds against the vast tapestry of night. The faint sounds of laughter and music from the distant homecoming dance faded into a comforting silence around them.
Clark turned slightly, casting a sideways glance at Honey, her face illuminated by the soft glow of the moonlight. Her eyes sparkled with joy, reflecting the happiness of the night they had shared. He took a deep breath, grateful for moments like this, where the world felt simple and right.
āTonight was amazing,ā he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Honey smiled, her cheeks flushed from the evening air, āIt really was. I had so much fun.ā
There was a comfortable pause, each lost in thoughts about the nightādancing under the lights, laughter shared, and the warmth of their connection. Clark felt a gentle squeeze on his hand, bringing him back to the moment.
āDo you ever think about the future?ā Honey asked, her tone shifting slightly, a hint of seriousness weaving into their casual conversation.
Clark hesitated, the weight of her question settling in. āSometimes,ā he replied. āI think about what we want⦠where we want to be.ā
Honey tilted her head, curious. āAnd what do you want?ā
He thought for a moment, then replied, āI want to be with people I care about, making memories like this. Itās the little moments that matter.ā
Honey looked deep into his eyes, her expression thoughtful. āI feel the same way. Moments like this, they make everything else fade away. Nothing else matters.ā
As the cool breeze rustled the grass around them, Clark leaned his head back against a nearby tree, both of them enveloped in the tranquil atmosphere. It felt easy, being here, with her.
āDo you think weāll still do this when weāre older?ā Honeyās voice was soft, but it held a hint of hope.
āWeāll always find a way to make time for each other,ā Clark affirmed, tightening his grip on her hand.
They lingered in the moment, steeped in the warmth of shared dreams and quiet promises, the stars above silently witnessing their connection deepened.
Clark took a deep breath, the air heavy with unspoken words. He turned to face Honey completely, her gaze still fixed in the distance, lost in thought. It was now or never. His heart raced, and he felt the soft pulse of vulnerability surge through him.
āHoney,ā he began, his tone earnest, āthereās something Iāve been meaning to say.ā
She turned to look at him, her curiosity piqued. āWhat is it, Clark?ā
He could see her eyes glimmer with anticipation, and it gave him the courage he needed. āIāve been thinking, especially tonight, about what we mean to each other. I⦠I love you.ā
Honey's expression shifted, surprise mingling with a rush of emotions. āYou love me?ā she echoed, a hint of disbelief dancing in her voice.
āYes, but itās more than just friendship,ā he continued, his heart pounding as he spoke. āIāve felt this way for a while now. Youāre not just my best friend; you mean so much more to me than that.ā
The silence that followed felt like an eternity, and Clarkās stomach churned with both hope and dread. He was terrified of how she might respond.
Honey's breath caught as she processed his words, her eyes wide. āClark, Iā¦ā
Before she could finish, he rushed to explain, āI know this might be a lot, and I donāt want to ruin our friendship. But I couldnāt keep it to myself anymore. Youāve been my rock, my confidant, and being with you feels⦠right.ā
A soft smile began to form on her lips, and relief washed over him. āI feel something special between us too,ā she admitted, her voice a soft whisper. āI just didnāt know you felt the same way.ā
Clark's heart soared at her words. āSo, what does this mean for us?ā he asked, anticipation hanging in the air.
Honey paused, biting her lip as she contemplated. āI think we should explore this⦠whatever it is we have. I want to see where it leads.ā
A grin broke across Clarkās face, the weight of unspoken fears lifting. āReally?ā he asked, needing to hear it again.
āYeah,ā she replied, her cheeks flushing with warmth. āIām excited⦠and a little scared, but mostly excited.ā
They shared a moment of understanding, a bridge crossed into uncharted territory. Clark felt an overwhelming sense of happiness as he took her hand in both of his, their fingers intertwining.
āIām glad,ā he whispered, his eyes locked on hers. āIāve wanted to say that for so long.ā
Honey nestled closer, resting her head against his shoulder again, both comforted and exhilarated by the new depth of their relationship.
The tranquil night surrounded them, and the stars seemed to shine brighter as they sat together, hearts racing, ready to embrace this new chapter in their lives.
"My Sweet Dumpling loves me." She whispered, smiling. Clark kissed the top of her head and nodded, "I've always loved you." He whispered back.

Narrative
A thick mist clung to the twisted vines and murky waters of the swamp, making it impossible to tell where the water ended and the air began. Aang peered through the fog, trying to spot any sign of Appa or Momo, but the dense canopy above blocked most of the sunlight, casting everything in an eerie green glow.
"They couldn't have gotten far," Katara said, though uncertainty tinged her voice. "Appa was right above us when that tornado hit."
Sokka hacked at a vine with his machete, grumbling as he cleared their path. "This is ridiculous. It's just a swamp. A normal, ordinary swamp with normal, ordinary plants and normal, ordinary mud that keeps trying to eat my boots."
"I don't know, Sokka," Aang said, running his hand along a massive tree trunk. "There's something different about this place. Can't you feel it? It's like... like it's breathing."
"Oh, not you too!" Sokka threw his hands up in exasperation. "Trees don't breathe, they... they do whatever trees do. Make wood. Grow leaves. Normal tree stuff!"
A distant splash made them all freeze. Katara's water skin uncorked with a soft pop as she assumed a defensive stance. But when they turned to look, there was nothing there but rippling water and swaying vines.
"We should stick together," Katara said. "This place... it feels like it's watching us."
"Split up? Who said anything about splitting up? Nobody's splitting up!" Sokka's voice cracked slightly as he moved closer to his companions.
But even as he spoke, the mist began to thicken, separating them like a living thing. Aang reached for Katara's hand, but his fingers passed through empty air. Within moments, they could barely see each other's silhouettes.
"Katara! Sokka!" Aang called out, but the swamp seemed to swallow his voice.
Alone in the mist, each of them began to see things. Sokka stumbled through the ankle-deep water, cursing at every vine that caught his feet, until a familiar gentle light caught his eye. There, standing on a fallen log, was Yue. Her white hair seemed to glow in the dim swamp, her eyes sad but loving.
"This isn't real," Sokka whispered, even as his heart clenched. "You're not real."
Elsewhere, Katara followed a figure through the mist, her heart pounding. "Mom?" she called out, her voice small and fragile. The woman ahead wore the familiar blue parka of the Southern Water Tribe, her hair arranged in the same way Katara remembered from her childhood. But every time Katara got close, the figure seemed to dissolve into the mist. She fell to her knees in anguish and confusion.
Aang's experience was different. As he airbended himself from tree to tree, searching for his friends, he kept catching glimpses of unfamiliar faces. A girl in elaborate green and gold robes laughing behind a fan. A fierce-looking warrior with face paint and twin fans at her belt. A young woman in airbender tattoos, floating gracefully between the trees. Two girls in red, one somber and precise, the other grinning with wild energy.
Each vision vanished as quickly as it appeared, leaving Aang confused and wondering what it all meant. The swamp seemed to pulse around him, like a heartbeat in the earth itself.
Finally, they crashed into each other at the base of an enormous tree, its trunk wider than any they'd ever seen. As they caught their breath and shared their experiences, a figure emerged from behind the tree ā a man in simple clothes, seemingly at home in the swamp's strange environment.
"Took you young folks long enough to find the heart," he said with a knowing smile. "The swamp has a way of giving us visions of people we've lost, people we loved..." He looked at Sokka and Katara, then turned to Aang. "Or people we're going to meet."
"But how is that possible?" Sokka demanded. "It's just a swamp!"
The man shook his head. "Time is an illusion, and so is the separation between things. In this swamp, we see that all things are connected. One big living organism, just like the whole world."
As if in response to his words, Aang felt something stir within him. His tattoos began to glow, and in that moment of connection with his Avatar spirit, he could feel every root, every branch, every drop of water in the swamp. Through this connection, he sensed them ā Appa and Momo, not far away, confused but unharmed.
"I know where they are," he said as the glow faded. "And I think I understand now. Everything is connected. Everyone."
As they made their way to rescue their animal friends, each of them remained quiet, lost in thought about what they'd seen in the swamp's mysterious mist. Even Sokka seemed less certain about his skepticism, though he'd never admit it out loud.
The swamp had shown them something important ā that the lines between past, present, and future, between strangers and friends, between the physical and spiritual worlds, were perhaps thinner than they'd ever imagined.

"And, Zeus, has never trusted Poseidon since. Of course, Poseidon denies stealing the master bolt. He took great offense at the accusation. The two have been arguing back and forth for months, threatening war. And now, you've come along-the proverbial last straw." Chiron said.
"But, I'm just a kid!" Percy yelled, standing up pacing. "If you were Zeus, and you already thought your brother was plotting to overthrow you, then your brother suddenly admitted he had broken the sacred oath he took after World War II, that he's fathered a new mortal hero who might be used as a weapon against you.... Wouldn't that put a twist in your toga?" Chiron said, making them confused.
"But, he didn't do anything." Selene said, crossing her arms. "Poseidon-my dad-he didn't really have this master bolt stolen, did he?" Percy asked. Chiron sighed. "Most thinking observers would agree that thievery is not Poseidon's style. But, the Sea God is too proud to try convincing Zeus of that. Zeus has demanded that Poseidon return the bolt by the summer solstice. That's June twenty-first, ten days from now. Poseidon wants an apology for being called a thief by the same date. I hoped that diplomacy might prevail, that Hera or Demeter or Hestia would make the two brothers see sense. But, your arrival has inflamed Zeus's temper. Now neither god will back down. Unless someone intervenes, unless the master bolt is found and returned to Zeus before the solstice, there will be war. And, do you know what a full-fledged war would look like, Percy?" Chiron asked, finishing his long speech.
"Bad? I guessed." Percy asked. "Imagine the world in chaos. Nature at war with itself. Olympians forced to choose sides between Zeus and Poseidon. Destruction. Carnage. Millions dead. Western civilization turned into a battleground so big it will make the Trojan War look like a water-balloon fight. And you, Percy Jackson, would be the first to feel Zeus's wrath." Annabeth said, sternly, looking Percy in his eyes.
It started to rain. Volleyball players stopped their game and stared in stunned silence at the sky. Percy had brought this storm to Half-Blood Hill. Zeus was punishing the whole camp because of him. Percy was furious.
-Time Skip-
That night, Percy couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned in his bunk in Cabin Three, watching moonlight ripple across the ceiling in patterns like waves. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw his father's face - not that he'd ever seen it in person, but he imagined a sterner version of his own reflection, disappointed that his son wasn't doing more to clear his name.
Around midnight, he made his decision.
Percy slipped out of bed, grabbed his backpack (already packed, because some part of him had known it would come to this), and slung it over his shoulder. Riptide was heavy in his pocket as he crept toward the door.
"Going somewhere?"
He nearly jumped out of his skin. Selene was perched on the steps outside his cabin, her golden eyes almost glowing in the dark. She was already wearing her combat boots and leather jacket, a packed bag at her feet.
"I... uh..." Percy stammered.
"Save it, Jackson." She stood up, brushing off her jeans. "You're going after the bolt yourself, aren't you?"
Before he could answer, two more shapes materialized from the shadows between the cabins. Annabeth appeared, her Yankees cap in one hand and her bronze knife strapped to her arm. Grover trotted beside her, nervously adjusting the reed pipes hanging from his neck.
"We've been waiting for an hour," Annabeth said, rolling her eyes. "We knew you'd try something like this."
"Guys," Percy whispered, glancing nervously at the Big House, "you can't come. It's too dangerous."
Selene snorted. "That's exactly why we're coming, Seaweed Brain. You really think you can find a magic lightning bolt by yourself?"
"I've been studying this stuff for years," Annabeth added. "You need my help."
"And I can smell monsters before they get close," Grover offered, though he looked like he wished he couldn't.
Percy looked at each of them - Annabeth with her fierce determination, Grover trying to be brave despite his fear, and Selene... Selene who somehow made him feel both more nervous and more confident just by being there. His chest felt tight with something that might have been gratitude or guilt or both.
"The harpies will eat us if they catch us," he warned halfheartedly.
"Then we better not get caught." Selene shouldered her bag and gave him that crooked smile that always made his stomach do a backflip. "Come on, hero. We've got a lightning bolt to find."
They slipped away from the cabins, keeping to the shadows. As they crested Half-Blood Hill, Percy glanced back at the valley - at the only place besides his mom's apartment that had ever felt like home. He had no idea when - or if - he'd see it again.
"Any idea where we're going?" Annabeth whispered as they reached the road.
Percy took a deep breath. "West," he said, with more confidence than he felt. "I've got this feeling... we need to go west."
"Well," Selene said, bumping his shoulder with hers, "west it is. Try not to get us killed, Jackson."
"No promises," Percy replied, but he was smiling now. Maybe this was crazy, maybe they were all going to end up as monster food, but at least they were in it together.
In the distance, thunder rumbled across a clear sky. Somewhere up there, Zeus was waiting for his bolt. And somewhere out there, it was waiting to be found.
They started walking.

Narrative
The boys all sat in the living room at Denki's house. Izuku, Denki, and Sero was watching a movie. While Katsuki, Kirishima, and Shoto were playing cards. Mina was in the back laying down for a moment.
"Take 4 Icy hot! What the fuck are you doing?!" Katsuki yells, impatiently bouncing his leg. Shoto gave him his usual stoic expression and sighed taking the cards. Kirishima laughed and shook his head, "bakubro, you need to calm down. It's just a game. Remember we said we'll work on your anger?" Katsuki just grunted scowling down at the table.
Izuku playfully scoffed and looked over to the table, "that will never happen. Wasting your time." He said, and started laughing. Katsuki snapped his head at Izuku, glaring at him. "NOBODY ASKED YOU SHIT, DEKU!" Izuku stuck out his hand and smirked, "point made." He said, making Katsuki growl lowly.
"Ok, can y'all both shut up. I'm trying to watch this." Denki said, not taking his eyes off the tv. Kirishima and Shoto shook their head knowing Katsuki was going to say something. "Oh, so you want to get your ass beat again, sparkplug?" He said, making Denki huff and cross his arms on the couch. "Fuck you, Bakugo." He said, making Katsuki laugh.
"So, I invited some people over." Sero said, looking down at his phone. But, he could feel them staring at him.
"Who the fuck told you to invite random people over to my house?" Denki asked, knowing that's what everyone else was thinking too.
Sero smiled and looked at Denki, "it's people we already know. Those girls." He said, making everyone look at him confused. "Which one? Who did you text?" Kirishima asked. Sero smirked putting his arms behind his head, "that short fine chica. Nadia." He said, making Izuku glare lowly at him. Sero noticed and smacked his teeth, "the hell you mad about? You're the one fucking avoiding her because you're scared of being in relationship with her. I mean really Deku, she doesn't seem bad. Not like that other puta" Sero said, making everyone hum and nod.
Izuku waved him off knowing he was right. Izuku didn't like relationships. Not anymore. The last one he was in really fucked him up. It turned him cold in a kind of way, he wanted nothing to do with women. He just wanted to stay to himself. But, with Nadia back it was giving him feelings he didn't want. Last time he saw her he wanted nothing more but to kiss her and get close to her, but last time that happened he ended up getting done in the worse way. So, he genuinely didn't know what to do, but to keep distance.
"But, her sister." Sero whistled, "Mami is fine as fuck." He said, making Katsuki quickly looked at him with a glare on his face. "She's already taken, scotch tape!" He yelled, making Sero raise his hands up in surrender.
"What about the one with the big ole ass? Gimme that one." Denki said, rubbing his hands together. Izuku rolled his eyes and tapped Denki telling him to shut up and nudged his head to the table, Shoto looking at him with an icy glare, letting him know that Deja was spoken for as well.
Denki smacked his teeth and pouted. "Y'all, always taking the good ones." He said, folding his arms looking back at the tv.
Mina comes from the back into the kitchen and walked to the table sitting down on Kirishima's lap, "maybe you'll get a girl when you stop acting like a player wannabe." Mina said, to Denki laughing.
Denki scoffed and looked at everyone. "Yall, gon stop talking shit about me." Katsuki smirked at Denki and leaned back into the chair, "we'll stop talking shit when you stop looking like one of the aliens off Men And Black." He said, making everyone laugh. "Get in the gym fucker." Katsuki said, making Denki flick him off.
There was a knock on the door making Sero smile and get up. "They here." He said.
This could either be a mess or a good time....who knows?

Hours later.
We were back at our place and Aaron quietly walked to the guest room that'll he'll be staying in. "He didn't say anything the whole ride back." I said, to you getting water from the kitchen.
You shrugged, taking a sip from the bottle of water I handed you and leaned against the counter. "Yeah, he's been kinda quiet, hasn't he? Something's bothering him." You said, looking at me.
"You think he's nervous about staying here?" I asked you.
You looked like you were thinking for a moment, taking another sip of water. "Possibly. I mean, it's a lot to take in. We're basically taking him in, no questions asked. That has to be a little intimidating." You said, frowning a bit.
"Mm, he seemed to be warming up to my sister a little." I said, smiling, pulling leftovers out the fridge.
You smirked a little at that. "Yeah, definitely. I saw the way he was looking at her too. The boy's got a crush. You know they kinda disappeared for a little while. No doubt they went upstairs." You said, giving me a knowing look.
"Aye!" I said, playfully pointing at you. "She's not like that."
"I know." You chuckled, holding up your hands. "But, they both young. And, you can tell that they was feeling each other. Kinda like how we are." You said, smirking lowly at me.
You stepped closer to me, putting your arms around my waist. "You know you're the only girl for me, right?" You whispered, looking into my eyes, making my stomach swim.
"Mhm, only yours." I mumbled, slowly wrapping my arms around your neck.
"That's right. You're all mine, you hear me?" You pulled me closer to you, holding me tightly.
I licked my bottom lip and looked down to yours and nodded, "Yeah."
You smirked, looking down at me. Placing a gentle kiss on my forehead, then on my nose. Your hands roaming over my body, giving my ass a soft squeeze. "Damn right you are." You grumbled.
I laughed pressing my face into your chest feeling my cheeks getting warm, thankful you weren't able to see my blush. "So possessive you are." I mumbled.
You chuckled, pulling me even closer to you if that was even possible and squeezed my ass harder. "Yep. You're mine. I ain't gonna share you." You said, pressing my back against the counter.
I reached under your shirt and traced my nails up and down your back, "didn't say you had to." You groaned softly and placed me on the counter. "Good. Because I don't plan on it." You nuzzled my neck gently, your lips tracing a soft path along my skin.
I smiled and wrapped my arms around you tightly, running my fingers through your hair. "Awe, you don't want to share, Papa?" I teased, nibbling your ear.
You growled softly against my neck, nipping playfully at my skin. "Hell no. I ain't sharing you with anybody. You're all mine, baby."
"That's fine." Kisses along your neck and jaw, "Because I don't want anyone else." I said, biting down softly, making small hickeys.
Brian's Pov
I sucked in a breath as you nibbled my ear. I shivered, feeling a wave of desire wash over me. "Good Mama..." I groaned, pulling you tighter against me. My hands wandered lower down your body, slowly exploring every inch of you.
"Imma good mama for you papa?" You whispered sucking on my sweet spot. I let out a soft moan as you sucked on my sweet spot. My hands gripped tighter at your waist and ass, my body pressed against yours. "Oh God, baby...you're so good. So fucking good..."
I groaned softly, my body aching for you. Your touch, your body against mine, your voice whispering in my ear...it was driving me insane. I leaned in suddenly, catching your lips in a passionate kiss.
"Mmm, missed you, Daddy." You whispered. I deepened the kiss, my tongue meeting yours in a dance. I pulled you closer, my body pressed tightly against yours. "I missed you too, Mama...So damn much..."
"I love you." You said in between our kisses. I broke the kiss for a moment, my breathing heavy. I looked into your brown eyes, my own eyes burning with desire. "I love you too, sweetheart. So damn much." I leaned in, planting a trail of soft kisses from your jawline to your collarbone.
The way you softly moaned my name dragging your nails down my back under my shirt lit a fire in me. I gently pulled at the hem of your shirt, my hands roaming over your skin. My lips continued to explore your neck, my tongue tracing the curve of your collarbone. "You taste so good, Mama." You then wrapped your legs around me making me lift you off the counter.
I carried you to our room and I playfully tossed you on the bed making us both laugh as I crawled on top of you. "God, you drive me crazy woman..."
You giggled and cupped my cheeks. I chuckled softly, the sound of your giggles only adding fuel to the fire. I leaned in to kiss you again, my body pressing you further against the bed. My hands pinned your wrists above your head, my tongue exploring your mouth with a fierce hunger.
I broke the kiss, my breathing heavy. I looked into your eyes, a smirk playing on my lips. "God, you're so damn sexy Mama...the way you taste, the way you feel...." I looked past those chocolate brown eyes and raked over your curves. The thickness of your thighs the slight chubbyness of your stomach. You had tiny stretch marks on your sides, and i knew you were insecure about them sometimes. But, it didn't change the way i thought about you. I looked back to your eyes and bit my bottom lip. "God, look at you...so fucking beautiful."
You slowly wrapped your legs around my waist and smiled, "I think we're beautiful people." You whispered.
I chuckled softly, leaning down to hover over you. My eyes roamed over your body for the millionth time, taking in every curve and contour.
"Damn right we are, baby...you're the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen."
Hours later
"Fuck daddy." You moaned. Your hips moving against my thrusts, your arms wrapped around my neck. I groaned loudly, my body shuddering as your hips moved against mine. Your words, your arms wrapped around me, your body pressed against mine...it was nearly too much to handle. You felt so warm around me. It felt like you were made for me and only me. My mind started to feel dazed, as you clenched around me. "God yes...Mama...damn that-" I couldn't even get the words out, everything just felt too much.
I leaned down, nipping softly at your collarbone. My tongue traced a path up your neck to your ear, my breath hot against your skin. You were so good and tight around me. "You feel so good, sweetheart." I whispered, kissing the side of your temple.
She cupped my jaw and gave me the sloppiest kiss, "right there. Right there." She mumbled, against my lips, panting.
I groaned as you kissed me, my body on fire with desire. I increased the pace, my hips moving faster against yours. Your words, your lips, your body...It was all too much. Never have I ever experienced something this intense with any woman. "Oh fuck, Mama." I moaned, feeling you grip my hips. "Shit..."
You kissed me all over my face and looked deep into my eyes making me whimper. I leaned in to kiss you, my tongue exploring your mouth in a slow, languid dance. My hands roamed over your body, touching and exploring every inch of you. I wanted to memorize every detail, every contour, every sound you made. I quickly placed your legs on my shoulders, hearing your breath hitch as I hit that spot over and over.
Placing my forehead against yours as you yelled my name, seeing tears hit the corners of your eyes. I kissed your face and laced our hands together. "I love you Shia. So fucking much I love you, Mama." I whispered, against your jawline, feeling your legs start to shake.
"C-coming." You whimpered back a sob. I licked my thumb and reached in between us and rubbed your clit rapidly. I felt your body tense up, and I knew you were close. I quickened my pace, my hips pressing against yours faster and harder. My mouth was against your neck, my breath hot and heavy. "That's it. Mama, cum for me. You're doing so good. I'm so proud of you." You wrapped your legs around me tighter and held the back of my head, chanting I love yous over and over.
Pressure started to build in my stomach as I closed my eyes and moaned loudly in your neck. I couldn't stop it if I wanted to. "Fuck...s-say it again. T-tell me you love me." I stuttered my thrusts getting sloppy.
You repeated you loved me over and over as I looked into your eyes that were welling up along with mine. And, something broke in me as I looked at you. "F-fucck. You're mine. You're mine baby." I leaned down and kissed you lips one more time before my body gave out and I came deep inside your walls.
Ashia's Pov
We both came together and held each other tightly.
You held me close, my body shuddering with pleasure. I buried my face in the crook of your neck, breathing deeply. My hand slowly moved through your hair, gently caressing you.
"God, Mama...that was...damn..." You whispered, laying your head on my chest.
I hummed and continued to drag my nails along your scalp.
You chuckled softly, my hands gently caressing your back as I held you close. Your body felt so good against mine, so perfect. I could feel my heart racing, my breathing still heavy.
"You're so damn amazing, sweetheart..." You whispered, lifting your head up to look at me. "Am I?" I mumbled, smiling lowly. You laced our hands back together and looked into my eyes, with a genuine smile on your face.
"Hell yeah, baby. You're incredible. Smart, beautiful, funny, strong. I still don't know what you're doing with me, but damn I'm glad you are." I smiled but then it fell as I frowned, "I hate when you say that." I pouted.
You chuckled, your thumb gently rubbing against my bottom lip. "Oh yeah? Why's that?" You asked.
"Because you don't give yourself enough credit." I said, rubbing your cheek.
Brian's Pov
I shrugged, my gaze softening as I looked at you. "Maybe. I'm not exactly a saint, you know. My past...it ain't pretty. I've done things that I'm not proud of. I ain't perfect, Mama." I said.
"I'm not perfect either." You said. I raised an eyebrow, my hand brushing your now frizzy curly hair away from your face. "True. But you're damn close to it, Mama. Way closer than I am." I said.
"What if I said I felt that way about you?" She said. I smiled softly, my hand gently cupping your cheek. "Then you're biased. And a little blind, to be honest. I'm no saint, sweetheart. Far from it." I whispered.
You chuckled, "and I'm not a saint either I've done things that I'm not proud of, that you know of." You whispered. I knew what you were referring to. When you tried to take you life. Or the time you once told me you wanted to die. You told me you struggled with depression and Anxiety alot. You smile, "Done and said alot of things I'm not proud of." You said.
I felt a pang in my chest as you brought up those moments. The memories of when you were in a dark place, when you were hurting. I brushed my thumb delicately along your jawline, meeting your gaze. "Baby...you know that's not the same. You were in a dark place, in pain. That wasn't you. Not the real you." I mumbled.
"It is the same. I knew what I was doing and I did it. I'm not proud of it but it was me that did it." You said, running your leg along my side.
I sighed, my heart heavy as I looked at you. "I know. But...you're just too damn hard on yourself, sweetheart. You don't see how amazing you are. All the good things about you. You just focus on the bad. And I don't like it." I said.
You smiled and chuckled. "Well, I think someone needs to take their own advice. Because that's all you focus on. And I don't like it either. I don't understand how you can't see how an amazing person you are. And that's not me being biased, that's because it's the truth." She said, pecking my lips. "Brian, I want you to listen to me. Brian, i know you have your flaws and I'm saying who doesn't? But, despite that i love you and I don't think you're a terrible person. You're a good person. Yet you give yourself such a hard time at accepting someone can love you." She said.
I smirked as you hit me, amused by your feisty side. But the amusement faded quickly as my gaze grew serious. Your words cut deep, hitting closer to home than I cared to admit. "It's not about accepting love, Mama. I know you love me. But sometimes...sometimes I wonder why. Like what the hell did I do to deserve someone like you, you know?" I said, lowly.
"Brian. You're my everything. Because you aren't just a regular person, you are a certain type of person I hold so close to me. I mean when I first met you, I genuinely thought you were just like every other play boy. But, once I got to know you, i knew you were the one for me. I remember sitting at the table with Tej and Suki at the garage. Telling them how grateful I was of you. And, before meeting you it was hard to give my heart to someone else. But, you made it easy. You are my sweet boy. You are forever irreplaceable, I would literally do anything for you in a heartbeat. You're the type of person to light up the entire room when you step into it. You make me feel safe and complete. And, I know that if I would be in trouble or if something went down, I would know you would be there to protect me. You know that I can protect myself, but for me to confidently say I know you'd be there brings me peace. You make me smile when sometimes there's nothing to smile about. You are my biggest supporter, along with the rest of our friends. Through everything you've been through your soul has remained kind. You're an amazing person You're my person, and I couldn't imagine my life without you."
As I listened to your words, I felt a lump form in my throat. Your honesty and vulnerability hit me like a punch to the gut. I had never seen myself the way you did, and hearing you describe me like this...it was overwhelming.
"I...Jesus, Mama. You...God." I pulled you close, my arms wrapped around you tightly, my face buried in your shoulder. "I don't deserve you." I whispered, feeling my eyes welling up.
"That's why I'm with you" She said, cupping my cheeks cheeks. "You are my sweet boy." I looked deep into your eyes. "You make me fall in love with you every day." She whispered, kissing my lips as I felt myself cry. Never in my life did I think I could be this vulnerable with a person. Or love a person the way i love you.
I moaned against the kissed and pulled away as you brushed my tears away. "I love you. So much."

A/N: This mf is long š but I hope y'all enjoy
Later that night they drove to Ashia's parents house, so Aaron could meet her friends and family. "So, this my parents house." They walked up the porch steps with Aaron trailing behind slowly. "Mama's waiting on us." She turned around to look at Aaron. "You nervous?" She asked him.
Brian smiled at Aaron reassuringly. "No need to be nervous man. They're all cool people. Just be yourself, and everything will be fine. Plus, free food is the best way to win anyone's heart." He joked, making Shia playfully hit his arm.
"Okay let's go in." She said, walking into the house. Brian smiled, placing a reassuring hand on Aaron's shoulder. "Right behind you." They followed her into the house.
Shia showed Aaron her two older sisters and brothers, her mom, Dad, Tej and Suki. But, she mostly wanted Aaron to meet her younger sister. "Aaron is Najia. You know the one who likes music too." She introduced them standing back with Brian, smiling at how cute they were.
Aaron smiled at everyone as he was introduced. "Hey, nice to meet you all." He turned to face Najia. "Najia, huh? Shia told me a lot about you. We'll have to trade music recommendations some time." He said, smiling politely.
"Of course. We definitely can" Najia said, smiling sweetly. She looked just like a younger Ashia. Beautiful brown eyes. Dark brown skin, curvy, and the prettiest white smile.
"You look exactly like Brian." She giggled. Aaron chuckled, nervously, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Thanks. It's the rugged charm, I guess." He gave her a crooked smile. He didn't like how much of a nerd he was acting right now.
"But, you definitely got your mom's good looks." She laughed, "well, all the girls in my family look like our mom. Except for the boys. My brother's look nothing like my mom. Just my dad." She giggled.
He raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his gaze. "Oh yeah? I can definitely see the resemblance between you all. You got those g-gorgeous eyes." He stuttered and internally scolded himself. Kept telling himself to get it together.
He clears his throat, "So how old are you?" Najia chuckled at how cute he was being. He seemed like the awkward type. The complete opposite of Brian. "17 you?" She asked.
"19. Going to graduate high-school soon." He was stuttering alot and looked like he didn't know what to say. Najia just laughed and grabbed his hand, "you're cute." She said, smiling. He blushed, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Thanks, I guess." He tried to play it cool, but his cheeks gave him away. How the hell did she manage to make him feel so flustered and nervous? He couldn't figure it out.
"You hungry? My mom is the best cook. Taught me everything she knows." She said, walking him towards the kitchen. He nodded eagerly, feeling a pang of hunger at the mention of food. "Definitely. I could eat a whole buffet right about now."
"So, what's California like?" She asked, fixing his a plate of pretty much everything. He smiled, appreciating her kindness. "California's is okay. Barstow is a very small town. Not much to see. But, I guess it's home to me." He watched her put all this delicious looking food on his plate, his mouth salivating.
"But, Miami is nice. Ashia's and Brian's apartment is huge." He chuckled, smiling lowly at her. She nodded agreeing, "Yeah, their place is big." She continued to put things on his plate and his stomach grumbled more at how hungry he was.
"How did seeing Brian again go?" She asked, giving him soft eyes and a smile. He smiled, feeling a pang of mixed emotions. Seeing Brian again. He was angry about him leaving. But, being explained by him and Shia, he was less mad.
"It was...interesting, to say the least. He's still a cocky, arrogant jackass. But, I guess there's something endearing about that now. He hasn't changed much, but I can tell Ashia has made him a better man. He communicates better. But...there's also still this weird tension between us." He finished.
She nodded and smiled lowly listening to him. "You don't forgive him completely do you?" She asked, lowly. He shook his head, a bitter expression crossing his face. "No, not yet. Forgive and forget has never been my strong suit." He muttered. He clenched his fists tightly in his pockets , a flicker of anger flashing in his eyes.
"Awe, hun, I don't think Ashia excepts you to forgive Brian easily. Your anger is valid. She's just asking for you to try." She said, setting his plate down walking to the fridge. "I can tell Brian really loves you." She said, grabbing drinks. "Lemonade, tea, or beer?" She asked.
He groaned and crossed his arms giving her a low smile, "guess I can try to forgive him. One step at a time. Lemme get a beer. I have a feeling I'll need it."
They talked for a good while, trying to get to know each other. "Who wouldn't ask you out, though? I would be pretty damn lucky if I was your boyfriend." He said, looking into her eyes.
She laughed awkwardly and shifted in her seat, "no, people really don't talk to me. I'm kind of a loner. What about you? You ever have a girlfriend?" She asked.
"I've had one. But it only lasted a week. She cheated on me." He winked, trying to play it cool, but his voice trembled awkwardly. "But honestly. I just haven't found the right girl yet. You know what I mean?" He said, looking down at the table slightly embarrassed.
She frowned and grabbed his hand, "Wow, I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that. You seem really great. That's her loss" she said, giving him a small smile. He chuckled softly. "Thanks, but It is what it is right?"
They stared into each other's eyes both of them feeling something but she looked away feeling a tad bit nervous.
"And you... you're a catch too. Don't sell yourself short. Any guy would be lucky to have you. Hell, I'd be lucky to have you." He realized what he said and paused. He blushed, "Not that I mean... I...uh..." He stuttered trying to save himself.
She giggled and placed her hand on his leg, "It's okay..calm down." He laughed nervously, "Sorry, I can be a real doofus sometimes. I guess that's how Brian and I are different. He's good at this." He mumbled.
She laughed and shook her, "You should see how much of a dork he acts around Shia. It's cute. They're so lovey dovey with each other." She said, surprising him. Because Brian didn't do well with showing emotions. But, it was like easier for him when it came to Ashia.
They talked for the longest time. Eating and telling jokes, they could feel themselves slowly starting to like each other. They had the same interests and liked talking about different things.
Aaron told Najia that he wasn't that experienced when it came to girls, because she had asked him why his girlfriend had cheated on him. And, it was for that reason. Because he didn't feel comfortable going all the way with her.
He started to feel embarrassed after he said that and she grabbed his hand rubbing her thumb over his knuckles, and told him not to feel bad. That he deserved better than that. But, even after she said that she could tell he was still feeling a little awkward about telling her that. So, to cheer him up she said to come up to her room to show him her guitars.
Once they entered her room, his eyes scanned the surroundings. He took in the various decorations, the color scheme, and the overall vibe of the room. He noted the electric guitars that she had mentioned earlier, as well as a few other instruments.
He felt a strange sense of comfort in her space. Her room looked like his room almost. But, he wasn't surprised considering they had the same interests. "Woah..." he murmured.
She turned to him, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Yeah?" she paused, feeling a bit shy. "Yeah, I do. It's...it's really nice in here." He glanced around the room, taking in all the little things that made it uniquely hers. "It feels...homey, you know? Warm." He said.
She looked at him with thoughtful expression on her face. "Thanks. But, anyways. I just got two new electric ones." He nodded and looked at them turning back to look at her with a small smirk on his face.
"How about we play a little? You know...show me what you got." She returned his smirk and nodded, "you're on."
They played songs for hours not even realizing how long they've been upstairs for. They were just enjoying each other's company. And to Aaron's Surprise Najia was very good. At literally every instrument she had in her room. And, Najia gave Aaron his props too. She thought the way his voice got deeper when he sings was.....sexy. And, she didn't think she could experience something like this with someone let alone a boy. But, here is one in her room. A fine one at that.
They stopped playing and started back talking. They noticed that they was feeling each other bad. Real bad. They were staring into each other's eyes feeling the tension, Najia was feeling butterflies in her stomach as well as Aaron.
She looked into his deep green eyes as he looked into her dark brown ones. Her heart beating fast and his palms starting to sweat. They're arms touching. They're faces almost close to each other. They looked down to their lips, then back to their eyes.
Aaron's Pov
I felt her breath against my face, our closeness almost overwhelming. I couldnāt help but stare into her brown eyes. The way the light hit them. They were mesmerizing. But I couldnāt ignore her lips. How close our faces were. I slowly leaned in, my heart racing in my chest.
I felt the warmth of her lips against mine, a spark of electricity flowing through me. I deepened the kiss, holding onto her tightly. My hands trailing gently to the small of her back.
The world seemed to disappear around us as we kissed, lost in our own little bubble. Nothing mattered in that moment except the sensation of our lips locking together. My heart pounded loudly in my chest, a feeling of euphoria washing over me. leaned in closer feeling her breath on my face, our lips brushing against each other as we slowly kissed. And, oh my God it felt electrifying.
The feeling of her lips against mine sent shivers down my spine. I pulled her close to me, my arms wrapping around her waist. Our kiss deepened, tongues dancing together as we explored each other's mouths. For the first time in my life I wanted a girl to be mine. I wanted her to be mine.
I wrapped my arms slowly around her neck and and moaned slightly into the kiss. She slowly gasped and pulled away. "I-i'm sorry." She said, out of breath. Looking slightly embarrassed.
I breathed heavily, feeling a mix of disappointment and confusion. "S-sorry?" I asked, my eyes locked on hers. "What are you sorry about? That was...amazing." I asked.
She frowned and sat up looking away from me. I grabbed her chin and turned her gaze back to me, "I wouldn't pressure you to do anything you wouldn't want to do. But, I donāt want to stop what we have going. I-i would like to take you on a date." I whispered, cursing myself for stuttering at the end.
She looked at me with hopeful eyes and smiled. "Really?" She asked. I nodded giving her a smile back. "Yeah, i really like you. And, I want what this is to continue." She squeezed my hand and nodded.
"Okay."
A Love Curse?
Ch.4
Wednesday's Pov
My sister and I sat in the nurses office getting patched up. I felt nothing but burning anger in my chest. Us losing is never an occurrence that happens often, because it never ever happens.
That girl licked the blood off my cheek causing me to shock her. They would think I'm angry because I lost that's not necessarily the case. I'm angry because my family's love curse has finally caught up to me. I do not wish to have the love my parents have. It's sickening and torture. And, not the good kind of torture.
Deep in my soul I hate to admit it but the feeling i felt when I shocked her, the look of confusion in her eyes. I long to look into her eyes again. Her beautiful brown eyes and her smooth dark brown skin that glisten in the sun. I.....wanted to see her again.
I internally scowled at myself and grunted as I looked at Winda who had her usual expressionless look on her face, but I could see she knew what was happening and that made me more angry. I didn't need to hear her endless taunting.
"You're Wednesday and Winda, right?" The boy we knew as Rowan asked us.
We glanced at him as we realized he was sitting a few feet away with the nurse fixing him up. Winda and I quickly got off the chairs and stood up.
He sticked out his hand to introduce himself to us, "I know how you both feel." Winda stood by the entrance waiting for me, I looked back at Rowan holding my helmet.
"I guarantee you don't." I said, coldly.
Winda and I walked out of the nurses office but I was stopped dead in my tracks when she stood right in front of me. Along with a girl and another boy that happens to be my roommate. I suppose they were her siblings.
"Well, if it isn't my Cobra and his sister." She said, making me stiffen. She looked at Winda and smirked lowly, "it's a pleasure to meet you Winda. My sister tells me you are her roommate." She said.
Winda looked at her sister with lightness in her eyes. "Hello, again, Celeste. I see you've taken a break from that putrid colored fur ball that seems to torment us every chance she gets."
The girl that I know now as Celeste laughed and shook her head. "Enid, can be a hand full. But, she's a good friend." She looks Winda up and down and smirks herself, "and who doesn't like a little torment?" She mumbled.
For the first time in my life I think I saw my sister all most smile, but quickly turned back to stoic. She still held lightness in her eyes as she looked at Celeste.
"Well, my Cobra." I turned my attention back to Celani. My cold dead heart beating a little faster as she called me Cobra again, but emphasis on "MY" just like the first time.
"I'll, have to see you again later." She leaned over and kissed my cheek again making me suck in my breath as I shocked her again. She leaned back and smirked at me, as if she knew why I shocked her.
"Come along brother. We'll be late for class." Winda said, as i followed behind her. I could feel her gaze still on me as we walked away, her touch burned into my skin.
And......I loved it. No.......I desired it.
