Need for Power Supply confirmed!

Hey guys,

Last time I spoke to you guys I mentioned that I had to participate in a training paid for by work. Well, your girl has a nice new certificate to spice up her resume. So yay, glad that's over. I really treasure my Saturdays, so giving them up for workstuff did not make me a happy momma.

On the PC front... This is taking a lot longer than I anticipated. As the title says, it is indeed my computer's PSU that needs replacing. Did I take it to get checked out? No. The computer and comments on the net confirmed it.

At this point the computer is trying to save power to be able to powerup the GPU by turning off certain elements of the motherboard. Which ones, you ask? The screen, the mouse and the keyboard. All so the GPU is able to run.

What good is a running GPU if I can't see or do anything?

Anyway, so the hunt for a new PSU is ongoing. Stores have a shocking scarseness when it comes to PSUs of the size I need, so I might have to order one oversees.

I am not abandoning this story, so if you can, bear with me please. <3

I will continue to make chapters and CC for as long as I am able. It's one of my hobbies and brings me peace. I have not been able to work on anything these few months for the obvious reasons, but I'm itching to get back to it. Seriously, I feel like an addict that's shaking from the 2-months-no-PC detox.

TL;DR

I'm ordering a new Power supply unit for the PC. It's been 2 months already. I have not been able to work on chapters in this period, but I will not abandon this story. Making chapters and CC is my hobby and I like it. I also enjoy interacting with you guys so I hope you stick around.

Hey guys, Sorry for the lack of or low activity when it comes to the comic. My computer is acting up again. Not turning on from time to time. Sometimes for 3 days straight. I think it might need a new power supply, but until I take it to get checked out I won't know for sure. Also, there may or may not be an update for you guys this Saturday, please forgive me for not knowing the answer either. Work is making me participate in a workshop during the weekends, so I might be tied up until the middle of may.

I'm not giving up, just being delayed for a bit. Love you guys, VO

Hey guys, For those of you that read my sims comic. Sorry there's no update today. I've had this on my to-do list for so long and I really want to get it done. I'm giving my gentlemen some cravats. I just got a little bored with the same suits over and over again, so this might help add a 3d look to them.

I'll add them to an accessory-box so you don't have to enter your mirror-accessories if you have a lot of stuff in there and it loads as a snail.

When will this be available? No commitments. I tend to use the stuff I make in the story first, so keep a look out. If you see them in the pictures I'm like 99% closer to sharing. Again, sorry peeps. It's for a good cause ;) Love you guys.

A/N So part 8 begins. I still don't know how many pages this one will have, hence the ??. I'll probably stop when it feels finished, or a good turning point. There are 16 pages already story-boarded, so yup, excited. Enjoy part 8 <3

The comic 'Going forward'

Just a little headsup. There might be an update next Saturday, but there also might -not- be since I decided to scrap/trash the entire storyboard of chapter 8. Like seriously, it was 85% mapped out.

But looking at it... Sure, it has funny bits with Anthony and Regina and would've been a bit of a laugh, but a necessary chapter? I don't feel it is. So I'm skipping it. I will do that from now on; skip or combine chapters to let the story flow faster; or I'll reach the ripe age of 65 and still be doing this comic. *shudder* Nothing wrong with it, but I do have other ideas and things I want to do. That said, Chapter 7 will be the last one as a full chapter. The next update will be called 'Part 8' instead of chapter 8, because it'll contain more than 1 chapter. (9, 10 and 11, I think?) I hope it's not too confusing. Love you all and thanks for reading! VO
