The Start of It All

It is outrageous how late to the Tumblr game I am. Because the two things I have enjoyed most in this world for the past 13-14 years is writing and listening to Taylor Swift. 

What is even more outrageous is I have been a fan of Taylor Swift and all that she represents more of my life than not. I was 10 years old when I heard “I’d Lie” for the first time and I did not know it then but my life was forever changed from that moment on. 

I find myself often appreciating the art and ability to construct words to something that sounds beautiful. The way Taylor Swift does this is to a WHOLE other level. And every time I hear something of hers I am reminded how lucky I am to live in the day that Taylor Swift is actively becoming one of the GREATS. 

My parents love for music was passed down to me. And sure I am jealous they grew up with the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and the peak of David Bowie but they should also be jealous of me because I grew up and continue to grow with Taylor Swift.
