WHY STEAL MY MESH?

I recently received a dm from one of my friend who pledged ICONIC’s patreon said she seen a mask from their collection but very similar to my old cc. my 2021.jun posted ASHwwa cyber ninja set

And after comparing the mesh and uv between them, I found out that they do stole my mask, here are the evidences telling the facts:

If you were here followed me on tumblr before you guys must noticed that I published quite a few wips of me making this mask. From all those wips you can tell that I have been tested them numerous times until I finally happy with the results. And another fun fact is my mask is 100% originally designed by myself, it is not copying from any mask in real life, not even in anime, or manga or anything. I made it all the way by my own from designing, and modeling then texturing. That is really a shame of you choose stealing other’s work and even sell them as they are yours.

It is just hilarious that you stole stuff from another creator who is also in sims community. If you really are a creator then you should know how much effort I put in to my works. I am so sad and pissed off by seeing this kind of “robbery” happening.

Please take off my works from your pages ASAP, I’ll not let things just go over unless I receive your proper apology and announcement in public.

I thought this was really funny because Iconic/simsplify/shoestopia and whoever else they wanna go by (cuz they're all the same fucking person) is KNOWN to steal meshes from Second Life & IMVU.

While they did, in fact, steal @ashwwa's mesh, ICONIC stole it from IMVU.

I know that sounds confusing but hang on lmao.

A single search on IMVU's Marketplace shows a results of the same exact mesh being sold by MULTIPLE people.

On the first page alone, I see 4 different "creators" with the same mask just recolored. That's about the time I noticed this "Derived From" on every single product page with this oni mask.

Unfortunately that leads to a dead-end since it was taken down or the person who stole it originally, left IMVU I guess. The theft's "creator" name was Oka since the IMVU mask mesh (and every other mask) I ripped came with this:

My theory is that this Future Mask product contained was the mesh that was originally stolen from Ashwwa and reuploaded to IMVU. Since you can allow people to derive a product you upload to IMVU's marketplace, people have been having a field day with this stolen mesh possibly unknowingly.

So I pulled the mask mesh from IMVU and compared the UVs to the ones in Ashwwa's pic of Iconic's mesh. They're pretty much exactly the same which you can see below.

Iconic, also, cannot use the excuse of taking the mesh from the derivable product being that Oka (the OG thief) left a long time ago. I'm basing this on a review I saw on one of the many listing of this mask that dated back to April 2022.

So unless ICONIC has been holding out on posting this mask for 1 or 2 years, I really doubt they got it from Oka's listing.

I also HIGHLY doubt that Ashwwa took this mesh from IMVU for 2 reasons:

A friend has told me that Ashwwa was once active in a discord of theirs and would show everyone their meshing process. Someone capable of making this mask themselves would have no reason to steal it off-handedly from IMVU when every other creation they've made is from scratch.

It is well know that IMVU "creators" steal meshes from the Sims community & Second Life to resell on IMVU's Marketplace. I'm more inclined to believe that some no talent hack took the mesh from Ashwwa than the other way round.

Soooooo, Ashwwa is definitely a victim in this and ICONIC was always doing what they do: stealing from Second Life & IMVU. They simply told on at least 15+ other people while they were doing it lmao.

WTF IMVU ????? thank u let me know there's amouts of thief steal my stuff too and u know what? that "Oka" u are metion about who stole it originally, is the same name as i was got report by @evellsims told me someone informed them there's an IMVU creator steal a lot of cc from different sims4creators including me.

and then we decide to send DMCA report to IMVU office. so that's why this Oka's link had been removed. and here's i send in my DMCA report.

Willow Creek and Newcrest Made Clickable

Here's a little demo in an unmodded game to show it works

This simple mod makes the entire world clickable, allowing you to place objects anywhere with TOOL. Right now i've only done Willow Creek and Newcrest.

As mentioned, sims will walk in the street and occasionally route in odd ways, but it shouldn't cause any problems in your game beyond that!

I've updated Clickable Worlds for Chestnut Ridge!

This is intended to be used with TOOL to place objects throughout the world without having to use XY coordinates. I've no idea why this override works fine for some people and not others. If it doesn't work for you, please send me a message and I'll try to help you get it working.

Note: If you encounter a problem in your game where your sims are stuck, cannot route, and you can't click the ground, it's Clickable Worlds. Make a note of this so you don't have to go through the frustration of 50/50 testing. Also note that it's not a 'mod' per se, just an override of the world perimeter values. It will not affect your saves, and all problems can be resolved by simply deleting the files.

If you get the routing issue, please send me an ask or message and let me know which world(s) it happened in!

I also re-did Sulani, as the file for that world never quite worked properly. I think I've got it now. Redownload if you have issues!

No more need to choose eyes for each type of clothing;

I moved all the eyes to the "eye details" category, if you choose eyes in this category, then you don't need to choose eyes for each type of clothing. Also, the eyes from this category will never "disappear" from your sim during the game, as the eyes from the "Face Paint" category did after your character, for example, was burned and as a result of other game actions.

Additional category without increasing the file size;

I finally figured out how to duplicate СС into different categories without increasing the file size. I used the same technique in "JOURNEY: CARTOON STYLE GENETICS SET" to duplicate skins and face masks. So I left the opportunity to use eyes in the "Face Paint" category for those who like to using this category and do not want to change anything.

The smaller file size helps the game run faster. So I think this is a very important find.

New thumbnails in one style.

Just to make everything look nice, haha.

✅ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

you need to download this mod to open new "eye details" category (I chose this category because it is empty so you don't have to choose what exactly to use), this is not necessary if you want to use only "Face Paint" category;

delete previous versions of eye files from your mods folder;

put new versions of eye files in your mods folder;

in order for new thumbnails to be displayed in your game in "Face Paint" category, you need to delete the "localthumbcache.package" file from "C:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" (this is the folder where your mod folder is located), or you can do it through the sims studio.

if the СС did not work, it means that somewhere in the mods folder there is an old version of the file.

✅ In my game I use BETTER IN-GAME LIGHTING MOD v1.1 and GENTLE CAS LIGHTING MOD!!

Batch Edit CAS Display Index w/ S4S v3.2.0.8 (Star)

I was looking around S4S full changelog until my eyes caught something interesting 👀

+ Added a batch edit menu to folders in My CC + Added a batch edit option to set the CAS Display Index of all packages in a folder.

Previously, the only way you can group CC creators together is if you edit their CAS display index per packages in S4CASTools. Now, with the new S4S update, you can do so with a batch edit and voila!

If you plan on doing this, make sure you backup all your CCs first into an external drive in case things go wrong! This can quickly use up your storage if you want to sort all your CCs out.

Note for creators: if you use decimals in your display index, this will override that. I believe when you set all your CCs to a specific index number it will automatically sort by date (forgot if it's ascending or descending). So it's up to you if this is useful for you, organization-wise.

Here's how to:

01. You'll have to get the recent update to S4S (v3.2.0.8).

02. Separate files into folders based on creators. Here I have Gorillax3 & clumsyalien's ccs into their own respective folders:

03. Go into My CC, right click a folder, and it will show you the option to batch edit CAS Display Index.

04. Once you click the option, it will ask you which folder you're doing the batch fix on & the backup folder, and ask you what value you'd like for all packages in that folder. I set clumsyalien's folder to 70 and gorillax3's to 75.

05. Click OK and it will tell you which files has been edited. Results are below:

⚠️ Do note that for every batch fix you do, it will create a backup folder with all the files in \Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Batch Fixes, which can bloat your storage quickly. Do your batch fix in small batches, regularly check in-game if it works correctly, and continue. You might need to delete the backup files in the folder if you're no longer using that version.
