Aging is *literally* the process of your body breaking down like an ancient and damaged machine. It's the epitome of the REAL definition of "degeneration" and people act like it's some sort of "beautiful natural process" no bitch it's literally a disease. It's a built-in kill switch your body has and science has proven this kill switch can be turned off with the right treatments.

Same goes for death itself. "Natural" body death can also be stopped with the right treatments - in fact, there's a lot of overlap between anti-aging treatments that could exist in the next couple decades and the anti-death treatments that could show up in a similar amount of time.

Would anyone be interested in a Mikan/Ibuki centered, post canon, fix-it fic?

I have read a metric ton of KomaHina fic and i love it but I realized that I was missing some beautiful, doomed, toxic yuri in my life and it got me thinking about the recent dislike of Band-Aid. Then, I thought "well, maybe if there was a way they could talk this out and understand each other, it could be a healthy relationship again!"

I'm delusional

SO- I created an AU where they do just that. Here's the basics

-established relationship throughout events of game

-Dispair disease being a mind altering sickness (we know this but more in depth)

-grieving

-re-establishing trust

-slow burn

-they get to actually use their talents

-physical and mental health recovery being a major plot point

-love letters

-learning to love/be loved

-fluff

-unlearning toxic coping mechanisms

-ibuki yearner

I've spent months thinking about this AU, making timelines, playlists and sketching scenes from it as they play out in my head. This is just scratching the surface.

I guess I'm just curious whether there is an audience for this?
