anyone else feel super normal and chill about the fact that they played the same music score (One Soul) both times Ilya said i love you (after the russian monologue in ep 5 and the sunrise after the confession in ep 6)

shane fell first
my controversial hollanov take in the whole "who fell first" debate is shane fell first. in ep 1, their first meeting lasted very short HOWEVER hudson mentioned in his interview that shane actually spoke to ilya for 6 minutes in their first official meeting (which got deleted). the same shane who is autistic, introverted and hates social interactions. that same shane APPROACHED ilya first and talked for 6 whole minutes despite ilya barely responding.
"you are an awesome player to watch" yeah he 100% already had a crush on ilya before they officially met and talked for the first time lol
is there a hollanov fic where the plane crashes and shane gets transported back to the time they first met instead of ilya? i love time travel fix its!
When the blood starts to fall, Tyler is the first one it hits. It's symbolic that it hits Tyler first, because he is the only one in that room who has taken human life.
Gentle touches
"You already left a kudos here. :)" SHUT UP IF I WANT TO LEAVE A MILLION KUDOS I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT‼️‼️‼️
let me give 100 kudos to Bleached Bones!!!
thanks, doc.
all these Tyler going to Nevermore as part of his rehabilitation program AUs and all i can think of is how traumatized he would be everyday walking past the wolf statue where his mom died help
damn i thought everyone knew the whole point of weyler/wyler is not that "Tyler never loved Wednesday because it was all manipulation" but "Tyler fell in love with Wednesday accidentally during the manipulation."
many believe Laurel didn't order Tyler to court Wednesday romantically but i disagree. i just rewatched season 1 and she tells Wednesday she deliberately made her feel special before killing her in the Crackstone Crypt. so, even though he didn't know who she was at first sight, i think he definitely had orders to do that later. however, he just didn't expect himself to fall in love in the process too. he did spend a bit too much effort into making her "special" for it all to be fake and be that affected by her words in Willow Hill.
that's the beauty of "forbidden love."
i have fallen for the tynid propaganda... at first i used to nod and smile at the wyclair folks BUT NOW I GET IT... their dynamics actually work so well together i wish we had more fics
Tyler in the Nevermore Academy Uniform
Rewatching this scene made me think, in another universe where Hydes weren't shunned, Tyler could've been a Nevermore student and rightfully wear this uniform on the Remembrance Day march instead of stealing it from somewhere as a disguise.
He deserved to be there just like all the other outcasts :(
I am so obsessed with just how OPPOSITE yet so SIMILAR Wednesday and Tyler are. They are basically 2 sides of the same coin
I mean just look at their parallels even with their differences
BOTH predestined to go insane and die because of their outcast powers (Wednesday from exhausting her psychic abilities and Tyler as a Hyde without a master)
BOTH having mothers who are controlling but in completely opposite ways (Morticia in a protective and Francoise in an abusive way)
BOTH being rebellious with their families
BOTH being told by their parents to stay away from the other but gravitated towards each other anyways
BOTH being unintentionally dragged into their same past family drama
BOTH growing up feeling like nobody in the world understands them yet recognized each other's softness (Tyler recognized the mask Wednesday wore to hide her care and Wednesday recognized the real Tyler hidden underneath when he begged her to kill him)
BOTH tried to kill each other but were unable to do it when it actually counted (in S1 EP8 Tyler was ordered by Laurel to kill her, in S2 EP4 he had lost his mind without a master when he threw her out of the window and in S2 EP8 he was once again ordered to obey while Isaac buried Wednesday alive. However, he didn't kill her when she was in coma even though he was in the hospital.)
They are just so deliciously buzzy. I don't get people complaining about them when this is peak lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers trope in a fantasy show based on a Addams family character. I can't wait to see how they develop in S3. My theory is they will not actually get together again (let's face it. there's too much trust issues now). However, I think they will always have a soft and special place for each other in their hearts.
