I really just looked at official art for reference, mixed it all together, and added some things (potions on the belt, strapped pouches for extra things, sometimes some ragged cloth because the Phantom from that one BTAS movie looks cool, a gold skull necklace from Cult of the Lamb, etc.). "Devil's in the details" and all that. :)
