This is kind of dumb but I have a villain f/o, he's evil but he's not a monster like- it's hard to explain. He's dastardly but he's not disgusting and he's very well liked as a good and badass villain. Unfortunately some of my friends just hate him and aren't subtle about being... Mean?? I guess? I don't know why I get super attached to villains but this particular one stole my heart and it's embarrassing to say, but he's "been there" for me in tough times. I feel kind of sad and sick when my friends reblog something that's like,"I bet ___ smells like piss/he's trash/ the only good thing about him is he made a better character/ no offense but people who legit like ___ are just as bad as he is" and it really hurts my feelings because they know I love him. I don't know what to do... I'm hurt but like... I don't do that to their f/os...
Is there a way for me to stop feeling like they're personally attacking me? I hate the fact I take this personally, I feel icky.
Honesty? At this point they’re just flat out rude with not recognizing that it’s hurting you. You can’t control who you like and they can be nice about it alittle more.
I’d put boundaries up with them and tell them that it’s hurting you a lot hearing it and if they can put a stop to it, if they don’t? Then I suggest new friends ;;;

Hello! So I have a question generally for the F/O community as a whole, is it normal to feel jealous and upset when seeing your F/O painted in an intimate scene with someone else's character? I feel ridiculous and low-key I'm kicking myself for being so attached to this particular person, but I can't simply just. Let go of them. Even bigger problem, the artist is a friend of mine and I feel like I can't go to her and say 'Hey this makes me really uncomfortable for this specific reason' because it's. Well, embarrassing. And I don't want her to feel like I don't support her art because i do. I just hate seeing someone I'm deeply attached to portrayed with another person -,-

Hey there! its normal to feel jealous over your f/o with another pairing, in this instance I would communicate that you feel uncomfortable with that. maybe it’ll help? something on the lines of; “hey, I know we’re friends but its making me uncomfortable seeing this, is there a way around it?” I get ya anon I do! I had that issue before and communicating your issues helps a lot ! <33

I'm really new to self shipping!!! Is that any activities I can do? Like,,, should I write letters? Scroll through tumblr? Draw art?? I wanna be close to him but I don't really know how- I show alot of my love though doing stuff for people and physical touch. So having an F/O I can't show my affection too or make coffee for makes me super guity.

Usually writing or drawing helps me with physcial affection 💟 since i get the feeling of not being able to physically love them is hard, but i usually would get things to remind me of them (i.e as if you bought them something, a gift from them, etc) or claim they got it for me 💙
I would do little doodles to help! And theres plenty of good artist on here that can draw you and your f/o 💕
i have a question, i hope it's ok to ask. i'm very new to the f/o community (just made a blog yesterday!) and i'm wondering how people communicate with their f/os? i've seen people talk about writing letters to them or having conversations with them or even getting married to them. i'm confused how it all works and i've never seen any posts on how it's done. it's something i think i'd like to do myself but i'm a little nervous. thanks in advance

Usually its based on ideas and imagines that help people get into activities with their f/o! Usually looking up ideas for wedding dresses/tuxs, ideas from prompts with writing out scenes, and of course looking at source materials to help get ideas going! :3

I can't find your about section unless it's the first post so I don't know if this is something you'd want to do, but maybe one where the engaged male f/o and female s/I are laying in bed (s/I using a laptop or phone) with f/o being sick with a cold and laying his head on s/I 's stomache and he randomly comes up and lays his head on s/I 's shoulder and says they should look at wedding venues. (On the laptop or phone) and s/I is confused because he's sick but they end up doing it anyway?
