On and Off

So when did it happen? Was it a slow gradual release or was it like a light switch - one minute on and the next off?

It was both. Can it be both?

Slowly I accepted things as they actually were and not as I wished or hoped or thought they could be. This was truly a process. To be brutally honest with ones self. To accept life and the people in it completely on what is in front of you. There will be no 'ifs', 'buts' or 'maybes'. Only certainty. Only facts.

And then one day, almost instantly the switch was flipped. Clarity.
