So I started a bullet journal! (Mine is the left, Pinterest on Right) So far I honestly love it. It helps me stay on point with my very busy schedule. Who comes up with these things?

So this was my first pin. I figured I would start with something that would be easy, cheap & helpful. After 3 days of it, I would like to say HOLY CRAP it’s a lot of water. It is definitely worth it. Overall, I feel better and I have a little bit more energy. Which considering I have an energy condition, is a pretty big deal for me. This is something I will try to keep up, since the benefits certainly outweigh the cons.

I had a thought the other day while I was on my 3rd hour of Pinterest browsing. What if we all actually lived the boards we pin? I think we would all be so much more put together, with our well layered clothes and crafty presents. I can tell you if I did I would be fabulous! I often use Pinterest to justify my crappy wardrobe (”see I have style, I just don’t have the money”) lack of cooking skills (”look how complicated these recipes really are”) and countless other things.
Now I know that we can’t possibly do EVERYTHING we dream about on our Pinterest boards. I even know that we can’t possibly do most of the things, especially those that are financially out of our reach. I’ve seen some posts and articles about people who try specific things on Pinterest. Of course, we have all seen the ‘Pinterest Fails’. But what I wanted to try was something a little bit different.
This blog is going to be a little self improvement, a little self discovery, and ALOT of FUN! I’ve started a Pinterest board dedicated entirely to this project. It’s mixed with things that I have always wanted and things I want to try. Essentially, I want to live the life I post on Pinterest. From getting my hair done to actually cooking a meal (trust me that is a scary thought). My goal is to do, complete or purchase at least one thing per week.
Whether or not I fail or succeed I am going to post the Pin and then whatever I end up with.
