I miss you—

not in the desperate, door-knocking way.

Not in the ruin-me-again way.

But in the way the sky turns your shade of blue

and my breath forgets itself and drowns in what your eyes were.

You were the only one who touched me like you knew where I ached without asking.

Hands trailing constellations across my legs like you were charting something sacred.

And you listened—

God, you listened.

Not just to reply,

but to understand.

You looked at me like I was a poem

you couldn’t finish reading.

And I pretended I didn’t feel it
