Going off of what the previous anon asked, will Kurogiri ever get surgery or gender-affirming care? Or has his time in the lab prevented him from going that route? Sorry if this is a no-no question; ignore me if it is.

Since I’m not sure if I’ll get into the details about this in the full AU comic, surgery or gender affirming care is a no go due to the type of “False Body” he was attached to. Also, as you mentioned, any hospital or lab work would trigger him due to his time in Dr. Zinc’s Lab.

The body would also just put him back into the original state of it even if he did try the surgery or anything along with it.

Kurogiri personally learns ways to help himself cope with what he was turned into, he’s not in complete dissatisfaction with the False Body but he’s not fully comfortable either 😞

Aizawa helps him a lot too 💜🖤

Yes he does get Body Dysmorphia

He does have ways to cope with it! His friends help him, plus the biggest thing he does is cover his neck since the scar reminds him of what happened plus he’s part of a different body

Kurogiri’s mental state was a lot worse in the lab since he was treated very badly, so the Body Dysmorphia was extremely difficult to overcome in that place.

In the present time he’s pretty chill with it since he has support, but he’s not completely there yet. 💜🖤
