Yes. I even have a few favourites I re-play every now and again.
so glad i'm not the only one who does this đ€đ
My mood currently.
you know that expression, "dance like no one is watching you?"
try writing like no one is going to read it
it's easier to let yourself go and just enjoy the process of creation when you aren't also playing 6 dimensional chess with your insecurities and anxieties
write because you have fun writing and if you never post it anywhere that's totally fine because you enjoyed your time with the process
Ok so we all love a hyperfixation but does anyone else ever avoid certain things because you feel like you donât have the time to be fixated on that, or that you arenât in the right headspace for this to become your latest obsession
Yep
âI hope you fall in love with someone who never lets you fall asleep thinking youâre unwanted.â
â Unknown
i never talk about these things but i canât remain silent.
i know tumblr doesnât give a SHIT when things happen in countries outside the âmost popular onesâ (such as the usa & england). itâs true, donât lie to me. yâall donât give A FUCK. not every issue and problem in said countries gets the appropriate exposure but in general shit shows up on the news WORLD FREAKING WIDE. you set up donations, you help out, your spread the word, you say âpray for xââŠâŠ
southern europe is burning.Â
my country is burning.
people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.
yesterday my country had 300 active fires.
people are losing EVERYTHING they own.
i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense itâs getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.
and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe⊠what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we donât ask for money, we donât ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness⊠something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish.Â
i donât know what to tell you. iâm angry. iâm frustrated. iâm disappointed. i feel like iâm screaming into the void. âa reblog does nothingâ - you know thatâs a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. yâall are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit weâve been winning lately.Â
but hell, if the EU doesnât give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?
again, i donât know what to tell you so iâll let the images speak for themselves:Â
An image captured by a Nasa satellite shows a thick plume of smoke blowing southward from the Greek island of Chios over the island of Crete
Torneros de Jamuz, Spain
Duca, Croatia
A helicopter from Italyâs civil protection service drops water on a fire near the railway between Venice and Trieste
Residents take refuge on the beach as a wildfire burns on the mountain next to the village of Lithi, on the Greek island of Chios
Men gather cattle during a forest fire in Vieira de Leiria, Marinha Grande, Portugal.
Charred trees are seen on the hills above the Cloister of Thivaidas on Mount Athos, a World Heritage Site in Greece
Portugal
This is fucking important. I am glad someone fucking spoke about this and said what they had to say. The damage is terrible, and all the evergreen, stone, even the ground is black. I was fucking terrified when Croatia was burning. The fire was near a village where I like and I thought it will burn down. I thought the church will burn down. I thought the cemetery where my grandpa is buried will burn. I still remember the smell of smoke, and when I went to check how bad is fire, my clothes and hair and skin all stunk of smoke. It didnât go away for weeks.
This is NASAâs picture of Croatia and Montenegro burning. My fucking country was burning. Fucking reblog this. I donât care that it isnât UK or US, or that it doesnât go with your blog, fucking. Reblog. It.
Not my blog type, I dont care.
Reblog for awareness. Do it.

itâs an unspoken thing between all of us- the grief of all the friends you never got to say goodbye to. like, the friends youd make in science class because the teacher sat you next to one another, the friends from your childhood who you mightve only spoken to in school, but whose existence sunk its teeth into you and left a permanent mark. even the ones you were closest to, the ones you called best friend for a time, somewhere along the way you parted without even noticing it. somewhere along the way, you played outside for the last time, shared food for the last time, stayed up talking for the last time, said i love you for the last time. when was the last time? we didnt decide to stop being friends. we didnt even say goodbye. but âsee you next weekâ turned into âitâs been a long timeâ, and now, if you saw each other in the street, you might pretend that you didnt. you might not even recognise them. they might not even recognise you. you canât remember the shape of their nose. and what about the connections you made online when you were a child, playing games that meant so little with nameless friends that meant so much? or when you were a bit older, talking to strangers but loving them like family? here, raise a glass to the friends who disappeared one day, who deactivated, who stopped messaging you back, because online friends can bring you just as much joy as real life ones, too. when the adults told you dont talk to strangers, they didnt consider the good morning! :) texts, the have you eaten today? texts, the trying to hold in your laughter at 3am texts, the i wish timezones and continents and countries didnt exist so i could hug you texts, the little pieces of a persons heart texts, blue light flooding across the world just to say i love you. sleep well. i love you. i love you. the grief comes in waves. itâs slow, and soft, and steady- you dont notice it pooling around your ankles at first, you dont want to- but it comes. childhood is where the grief begins. itâs reared like a well-loved pet, a hungry mouth under the tablecloth. a passing thought from time to time, when you remember the girl you befriended a long long time ago, and when you wonder where she went. it doesnât feel like much at first. it doesnât break you yet. itâs not like real grief, not like anyone died, but you had something in your hand and now itâs empty and you canât remember where you put it. itâs like that, except the thing in your hand was a person who loved you, once. a person whose face you couldnât draw if the world got on its knees and begged you. when you dont get to say goodbye to someone, your memory becomes a funeral, every conversation you ever shared with them a eulogy. because this is how the story goes.ïżŒ i had a friend. this is not a poem. i had a friend.
polish government has opened a website for ukrainians seeking safety and trying to cross the ukrainian-polish border:
ua.gov.pl
as of 13:10 polish time, it has been said as many people as possible will be let through the borders. they are also supposed to let through children who do not have passports, as to not divide families.
Polish person here, Iâve been on the website, it looks legit! Adding the full link here:
Information is available in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and English
Please get the help available!
Other people, please boost this!!!!
Gov.pl is a legit website connected to the polish government i use it to look at tax info and school stuff (it has the lessons for the teachers written out) and driving license info. So this is legit!!!
Ukrainian friends, you can also cross the border to Slovakia, with or without a passport, or at least thatâs the latest update from our Ministry of Interior. You must prepare yourselves for waiting in lines as they check every individual vehicle upon entering (waiting times according to our news are hours long because of shitty capacities but hopefully after today the officials will figure out a more effective system). If anybody has a link too, Iâd be grateful as I havenât found anything useful prior to adding to the post. I hope you all stay safe.
You can cross Slovak borders with pets, too, with only one document without other usually required stuff (section 10, highlighted in yellow, document is available in both Slovak and English language)

âyes, Iâve been wanting to read that!â I say with complete earnestness, as I proceed to ignore every opportunity I have to read it
âIâve been meaning to read/watch/listen to that, but the stars are not in position, so I canât do it yetâ
