We romanticize the stars, but forget the dark is what made them visible.
Forgive yourself for all the wrong things you did just to be loved.
When you're born in a burning house, you think the whole world is on fire. But it's not.
I haven’t felt this deeply bout people I’ve loved before. This shit hurts.

The silent effect 🤫
In psychology, the silent effect is about how powerful silence really is. When someone goes quiet on us, our brain immediately tries to figure out what it means. With no response to work with, we start filling in the blanks with overthinking or anxiety. Silence makes us question ourselves and feel unsettled, even if nothing was actually said. It can shift the dynamic in a conversation, communicate distance or boundaries, or feel like rejection without anyone having to say a word. How it lands depends on the situation and the intent behind it, but the point is that silence speaks, and our nervous system listens
In short: silence triggers overthinking, anxiety, or a shift in power, even when nothing is said
Spring cleaning is in full effect. It may be winter, but everything is getting rearranged or thrown the fuck out. The local thrift store is about to get a huge donation. I have too much shit.
