While I’m grateful for the new Tomodachi Life game giving me a way to make my favorite OCs fart, it’s a shame that it's limited to “proud farters.” To fully utilize the potential of customization options, we should give the action of farting its own set of quirks.
Just among my current OCs, aside from “Proud farter,” I can imagine there being:
Gasbag: Farts way more often than other Miis. The real question is “When aren’t they farting?” [This can be combined with other quirks]
Embarrassed farter: They’re embarrassed even when farting in an empty room. The shame is even greater in public.
Cute farter: Their farts are short, sweet, and trumpet-like. How can you be mad at that blushing face?
Thunder farter: Their farts will make Miis wonder if a storm is on the way. Standing too close is a hazard for your ears as well as your nose.
Lactose intolerant: Will only fart after eating dairy-based foods. [This can be combined with other quirks]
Annoyed farter: Just because this Mii has to fart doesn't mean that they’ll like it. Will look visibly annoyed at whatever’s coming out of them.
Sloppy farter: The sound effects for this Mii’s farts will make you want to give them a new pair of pants… [This can be combined with some, but not all, other quirks]
Among friends: The best sign of true friendship! This Mii will fart more among the people they’re close to. They will react positively if another Mii farts in kind.
Silent… : No sound louder than a hiss will come from this Mii’s behind.
… butt deadly: This Mii’s farts should come with a warning label. MIi’s within a certain radius will react with disgust. [This can be combined with other quirks]

Rare Rose in Knight!Verse post: days after joining up with Eustace and Jules, they stop in a tavern where two disasters occur together. Those tracking Rose down catch up with her, and Jules accidentally eats dairy.
To hide, Rose follows Jules into the men's room and crams herself into his stall.
...now she has to keep it together while the hunting party investigate, and he's having profuse diarrhea right beside her. Fortunately the investigation is... short-lived.
I got the public farter quirk on Tomodachi Life and, aside from making your Miis fart at random moments, I discovered a little cut scene that can happen for them:
A Mii will be alone in their house (at least, this is where the scene triggered for me and that Mii) and they’ll rip a fart. Another Mii will enter the house right after, stop, sniff the air, and then turn and walk right back out. The Mii who farted, once alone, will blush.
It’s a simple scene, but it’s not nothing!

I was reading an article in the New York Times recently about Shrek’s ascension in the mainstream over the past few decades. It, of course, focuses on the original picture book and its author, William Steig.
I was already becoming more interested in and impressed by this guy as I learned more about his life, and then the article included this sentence:
“Steig had little involvement in the film but did suggest one scene early in the movie, where Shrek happily farts in a swamp."
The man was a genius.
Poison damage is fun and all, but there's a huge untapped potential in healing braps.

Something I find really hot is when someone basically forces gas out of the other person, embarrassing them but making them feel good at the same time while simultaneously not seeming to care and not minding in the slightest.
The best scenario for this in my opinion is between two best friends, usually guys. They both go to the gym, try to work out together, have been best friends for years, know each other inside out. One of them gets awful gas whenever he gets nervous or has dairy, and he's also likely to fart more than normal naturally as well. But he's super embarrased about it, and fights up in order to not do it in front of his best friend, who doesn't ever let that happen. They'd be snuggling together watching a video, when he'd get the urge to absolutely rip one. Somehow his best friend instantly knows, and practically pushes it out of him, holding him close and massaging all the right spots. "Stop holding it, it's not good for your health."
"I saw you fidgeting, just let it out. Get it out of your system." Or he'd hear his stomach gurgling, barely holding the storm back while he sounds only mildly annoyed, yet still holding him as close as possible. "You gotta fart again bro? Really? Just let it rip." Warm hands grab on to his buddy's waist and pull him in even further, not letting him escape. "Yeah I know, I don't care that it smells, let it out, you're not going anywhere."
