names with "big" meaning, where the kid is named bc of that meaning, have to go too. no sky, no hope, no faith, no grace, no pax. I don't need to hear "she'll be named destiny, cause great destiny awaits her". just say you like the name, so destiny it is. and honestly, unless you're fantaghiro, i don't need your name to be announced like a big deal at all.

the other reason why I don't listen to "vaemond was right, lucerys had no right by blood to driftmark" blah blah blah is because we all know that vaemond was there just being greedy and hypocritical. he didn't care about his house. his actions were also against house targaryen. him naming rhaenyra a whore and declaring help for hightowers were against house targaryen. against the whole realm actually.

i love using free will to lie cause i was just sitting with my friend watching catching fire (she only watched first hunger games long time ago, she also kinda hates spoilers) and she was like "omg is beetee dead? omg where's peeta? omg who died, i heard 3 cannons" so i just immadietaly used the opportunity to say "those cannons were for beetee, brutus and peeta" "did brutus kill peeta??" "no, peeta killed brutus and then enobaria killed him. they not gonna show his death in this movie tho, rebels will show it to katniss in the next movie so she'd join the rebellion to avenge peeta" and then i proceed watching my friend screaming "liar" at haymitch bc he said peeta is alive in capitol. totally worth it.

Since season one the timeline has been messy. In one scene someone will say something happened weeks ago and someone else will say it’s been months. Whoever is in charge of keeping track does a very and job. But I think they are supposed to be married for almost a year? Penelope manages to have her kid before they even depart to Scotland but he’s the same age when they come back so I guess they don’t really take timelines seriously at all everything else is inaccurate so it doesn’t really bother me

there is something important in fiction and it's universe's realism.

when you are introduced to certain universe and there are dragons in it, it's realistic for the universe to have dragons showing up here and there. then the universe tells you that dragons are faster than horses (duh) and you accept it, that's how it works in the universe. so when main character shows up and wins the race against the dragon while riding a horse, I call it bs.

when the universe's dragon is said to need few hours to fly through the whole kingdom, that's the fact in the universe. so when that dragon flies through the kingdom in 10 minutes, it's not realistic for the universe, I call it bs. (GoT, i'm looking at you btw)

when the universe is said to have 9 months pregnancy and then in ~6 month four women go through the whole pregnancies and also have ~6 months old babies, i call it a bs.

when you have female characters whom didn't get pregnant immadietaly after getting married (daphne, kate, prudence, phillipa) and it's considered normal in the universe, but then one female character isn't pregnant 6 months into marriage and that is supposed to be her struggling with infertility, i call it bs.

all they needed to do, was to make "one year later" part after violet's masquerade ball and i'd have no problem with length of pregnancies, babies' ages and also benedict not recognizing sophie right away would be much more believable. it could have been solved that easy. so yeah, it does bother me.

John dies 10 pages into the book when Francesca and his cousin go on a walk where he tells her about the woman he sleeps with and they flirt. They have him way more development in the show and they’re also doing a time jump. They’re not rushing.

those 10 pages told us about 2 years of marriage. bridgerton s4 told us that it was, again, one year between seasons, so francesca and john were married less than a year (which again, doesn't make sense. they were talking about being married for "not even a year", they married at the end of social season and s4 starts with the new one... so maybe a bit more than half of year and looking at the length of pregnancies and children's ages don't add up here either). but let's take that half of a year/a year of marriage vs 2 years in the book.

then in the book she grieves for 4 years before she decides to remarry. that might be the best outcome. i think show's 2 years is enough tho. thanks to that we'd have proper time for fran's grieving, for setting up eloise's romance and hiacynth and gregory growing up.

i'm not saying john's character was rushed up. honestly I think mostly i liked him in the book cause he was sooo not michael. and in the show we actually get to know john and love him and michaela. i'm talking about timeline being so messy that nothing makes sense and all events seem to be rushed too much.

i'm not mad we're getting franchaela before eloise's season, fran is my fav bridgerton next to hiacynth, i'm glad of more of her screentime. I just hope that this time timeline will make a bit more sense.
