The leash disappears into fluff (Source: http://ift.tt/2qMvuLx)
This blog is a Steve Buscemi hate free zone
If you want an insight into the chilling mindset of senior Tories, look no further than the fact that the Prime Minister (who called this whole election in the first place) is so averse to public scrutiny that she sent the Home Secretary to represent her at the election debates less than 48 hours after Ms. Rudd lost her father.
What kind of chinless reptile do you have to be to throw your grieving colleague to the wolves rather than ordering them to go home on the spot?
Holy shit, that's disgusting. In spite of my hatred of the Tories, my heartfelt apologies and respect go to Ms. Rudd for putting herself through that mess while days into the throes of grief.
A few weeks ago, I pretty much begged you all to put aside your issues with Corbyn and vote Labour anyway. I explained that Theresa May was confident of an increased majority in the Commons and that it was vital to ensure that Labour isn’t wiped out altogether.
Since then, a number of new facts have become clear:
(1) Jeremy Corbyn is a much better politician than many of us expected and frankly, it won’t be a hardship for me to vote for a party led by him. For all the fuck-ups, disappointments and problems over the last 18 months, he is by far the most convincing human being out of all the party leaders.
(2) Theresa May is shit. Not just shit in the sense that all Tories are shit - that kind of narrow self-interested completely unsympathetic way. She’s also downright fucking incompetent, in a way that is completely unprecedented. She doesn’t know what her policies are from one week to the next. She can’t handle a Paxman interview or a debate with Corbyn. Even Cameron managed to get something from EU negotiations. She will get us nothing.
(3) Tim Farron is not someone that any left or centre-left voter should be willing to support. He is homophobic, pro-life and pro-fox hunting. He will make a deal with anyone because that’s all the Liberal Democrats can ever aspire to. If they genuinely cared about British voters and not their own careers, they would get out of the fucking way.
(4) Whilst a Tory victory is still looking very likely, Theresa May might not be getting the massively increased majority she was hoping for, because of her aforementioned shitness.
So in light of these new facts… I am still telling you to vote Labour UNLESS you are absolutely sure that another party has a better chance of beating the Tories in your area. Don’t bother with those pointless apps or charts going around to determine this - go to Wikipedia, type in the name of your constituency and check out who came first and second in 2015. This will tell you who you need to vote for to do most damage to the Tories. In the majority of places in England and Wales, that means voting Labour.
People are watching these election debates tonight and saying “oh Tim Farron came off better than I thought” and “Caroline Lucas is good isn’t she?” It doesn’t matter, because those parties don’t matter in the vast majority of constituencies. We cannot let this useless fish turd of a woman continue with a bigger majority, just because we wished Corbyn had spent less time making jam and more time taking the EU referendum seriously.
Get out there on 8th June and vote Labour. Please.
UK General Election
This is a call to arms. If you are British, if you are signed up to the elctoral register, if you have your polling card: Go out and vote. This is not a joke anymore. You can't sit back and let everyone else try and change things, because there are hundreds of thousands of people who will be doing the exact same thing. We cannot afford to be politically apathetic. We cannot afford to let this go on any longer. Fight back. Don't let these reverse Robin Hoods rake your hard earned cash from you under the guise of 'austerity', all the while putting that cash firmly in the pockets of their wealthy friends. Do not allow these self serving, pro class-divide monsters take away a nearly 70 year old institution that has prolonged and saved and began so many British lives. Refuse to pay for the privilege of being unwell, of being injured, of having a child, of being disabled or in need of a sensory aid. I for one will be at that polling booth on June 8th, putting my cross in that box that spells a better, brighter, more socially and economically just future for our youngest, oldest, poorest and sickest. Anyone but the Tories, anyone but Blue, anyone but the Nasty Party. Please vote next Thursday. Your voice and your life matters just as much as theirs - speak up.
Manchester Bombings
I'd like to preface this with a heartfelt message of love, sorrow and solidarity for the victims and families of the attack; to those parents that have to bury their children, to the families shattered by this horrific loss of life for the sake of destroying freedom and equality. We do not stand for this loss of innocents, for this loss of innocence, for this addition of fear. I hope people keep donating to the victims families so they can send their loved ones off in a beautiful way, because it's the least we can offer them at this painful time. But as horrible as this event has been for the country and for our people, that is not the point of this statement. I know the British public will come together, I know the world will support us as we grieve. What I am worried about is the mentality that has started to creep into the mainstream thought pool. Just because one Muslim man decided to destroy the lives of some people and ruin the security of this country, does not, under any circumstances, mean you can demonise Muslims. Like every group, like every religion, like every country, there are outliers who ruin it for everyone and are not content with the kindness the world has tried to afford them and the peace and freedom we have extended. There will always be people who want to hurt others for their beliefs. But just because a Muslim man bombed a concert in North West England full of young people, does not afford you the right to punish anyone of the Muslim faith. Do not blame the many for the deeds of the few. Islam is not the enemy - terrorists are. Don't give rise to this culture of Islamaphobia. Like the rest of us, the majority of Muslims just want to live their lives and practice their faith, and nothing more. Do not judge them by these men and women because Muslims hate these radicals as much as we do. Let's fight this fight together, not divided.
Mark Edward Fishbach. I've been watching your videos since I started university in 2014. A friend put you on and I vaguely recognised your voice from the dumb videos my brother would blast in the next room while he played his video games. Very quickly, your videos became a source of constance - every day at 4pm and 8pm, I knew you'd be there. I've been struggling with depression for a long time. And when I'd have a bad night, when my world would implode and my eyes would flood, I'd turn on my laptop and fire up YouTube, and I'd come to you. Through my tears, you would make me smile. Now, I'm okay. I'm in a safe place, with a wonderful boyfriend, great friends and a supporting family. And I still come to you because you add so much joy to my life. The last post I made, I admitted I'd been jaded with you for a while, before Momiplier played FNAF with you. I saw that passion and joy again and I remembered all that joy again. So now it's time for me to give back to you. I watched your 'I Feel Lost' vlog, and my heart broke just a little bit. I hate that you feel like that, that you don't know where you're going anymore. You deserve to feel like the hero you are to your viewers. No, you can't be there for everyone, you can't answer all comments or emails or messages. But you are here for us, just by posting your videos. A lot of people, they do what I did in the beginning - they put you on in the darkest of times, and for just 10 minutes of their day they can smile. You inspire us all to write things, to draw things, to make things to show you how much we appreciate you giving us your time. We don't expect anything to come of it because you already did more than enough, and the fan art is a thank you. I just want you to realise, that even though you feel so lost, there are 17 million people behind you who'll support any path you choose to take. We all love you, we all respect you, and we all want to see you succeed. If you read this, I want to say a personal thank you. You were genuinely instrumental in my recovery, alongside Jack, and so many nights would have gone so differently if I didn't have your big dumb face and big dumb laugh guiding me to morning. So thank you, Mark. I hope you find that spark that'll bring you to where you want to be. Sincerely, All of us.
That is not very nice!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - Chapter Fourteen: Snape’s Grudge
As though an invisible hand were writing upon it, words appeared on the smooth surface of the map. “Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people’s business.” Snape froze. Harry stared, dumbstruck, at the message. But the map didn’t stop there. More writing was appearing beneath the first. Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git. It would have been very funny if the situation hadn’t been so serious. And there was more… . “Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor.” Harry closed his eyes in horror. When he’d opened them, the map had had its last word. “Mr. Wormtail bids, Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball.”
