Hey everyone I’ve got some so-so news. I’m stepping down from Diarmuid. I’ve lost the muse to play him and so I’m archiving this blog as well as two other blogs (The Gentleman Monster and Provisional Master). Does this mean I’ll vanish from the scene completely? No! Not at all! I’m going to make Gudao/Nanashi his own blog after I archive his. I enjoy playing him and he’s a bit more flexible to work with. Once the new blog for Gudao/Nanashi is up I’ll put a small promo for him here.

I know I’ll be seeing you all soon once I get Nanashi properly set up as his own blog.

After seeing what Grand Order did to Edison I want to ask from Mode. Has there ever been moments in Grand Order that made at least think words like 'Are you f¤#kng serious?' or something similar?

Eyurg.... I’m shoving this under the cut.

Well.

Yes.

Most of my problems with some of the grand order designs stem from the fact that the servant designs does not radiate their origins (Attila) or have really wacky designs (Edison) and they don’t make sense. When I look at a servant I try to justify why they look the way they do. 

For example Boudica. Her first level design is one I don’t like but I understand. I know that the Celts would often charge into battle stark ass naked and win so...the whole barely clothed thing makes sense. Though they could have gone with the whole body suit route that Dia, Cu and Scathach have.

But then there’s Attila.

And the fact that she’s this twig that has no visible muscle mass to her and her outfit has nothing about it that screams Hun to me. Sure, she may be short but give her bulk. Make her look like the warrior she’s supposed to be.  Give her proper clothing/armor that come from the Huns. Make me think that “Oh fuck, she’s going to murder me without a second thought.

Now for Edison. Most of my problem with him comes from the fact they made him this buff-furry-lion-justice-lazer-dude. I’m sitting here going “..What” and poking about in history to see WHY they made him a Leomon ripoff and finding out that he made the first cat video is probably why they made him Justice Leomon. I’ll get used to it but it’ll take some time.
