A beginner’s brief guide to fashion: 1700-1910

So today I realized that I don’t know crap about the history of fashion. This caused me serious distress while trying to create Art™, so I made this overview summarizing every (European) decade’s taste in a few words, ranging from the 1700′s to the 1910′s.

Hopefully, this can serve as a cheat sheet for the future. When getting started on anything, I like to see the bigger picture first, and making a masterpost seemed like the best way to help myself pinpoint the specific decade I’d like to delve a little deeper into.
