soooo these days i really feel like painting bgs and i recently held a pool on instagram, in which i asked my followers which kind of background should i paint next. most voters wanted me to do some urban scenery, so here are a few initial ideas!

i went for a more suburban/european town feel because it gives me a good excuse to draw trees and plants :) now i’m probably gonna pick one of those concepts and work on a more detailed sketch.

É possível se sustentar apenas com salário de animador (no Brasil) ou vc tbm faz freelance?

cara... depende muito do seu nível de habilidade, da cidade onde você mora e do estúdio onde você trabalha. falo isso porque aqui no brasil os salários nesse mercado não são padronizados. eu comecei como animadora jr e ganhava bem pouco, por isso também tive que pegar uns freelas no meu tempo livre pra poder complementar a minha renda. existem estúdios que pagam sim um salário digno pra um animador iniciante, mas não é tão fácil encontrar.

se você já tem alguma experiência e boas habilidades como animador, é possível viver com alguma dignidade. um animador pleno deve ganhar acima de R$3.000,00 (na CLT), o que não é ideal, mas da pra levar se você divide suas contas com outras pessoas (aluguel, por exemplo). no caso de um regime CNPJ acho que os salários são um pouco mais altos.na área de 3D creio que é mais fácil se sustentar, pois há mais demanda atualmente. os melhores salários e as melhores oportunidades de trabalho estão em são paulo, mas tem que levar em consideração que o custo de vida lá também é alto.

technically it’s not 2018 yet in brazil but i wanted to wish all my followers a happy new year!! thank you all for your love and support, i’ll make sure to keep working hard :) 2017 may have not been great in terms of developing personal projects, but it’s been amazing in terms of professional growth. i took a risk and became a full time freelancer, got to work with some amazing clients and achieved a major goal in my career. i shall return with good news soon!
