I didn't expect that the first ep of "the falcon and the winter soldier" would made me sad, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes deserve way better...

Forgive me if i'm wrong but, isn't "the avengers" a private entity? which means they don't work for the government?? That's why the government needed an excuse to lead them sign The Sokovia Accords, so they could control them right? because they are a private entity.

So having this in mind, then the one who sustained "The Avengers" was Tony Stark, he give them the lastest technology so all of them could fight "the bad guys" and that. It's logical to think that the one who should have given them a salary was him. I mean if you are investing in this group of superheroes, then a salary is the first thing you think, right? after all, you have the resources and no one is saying that you should give them a millionare salary.

Also, the Avengers are superheroes and everyone knows their identities (except spiderman's until far from home), so it's gonna be really difficult for them to have a job unless it's them working for the goverment. They have enemies so having a "normal" job is out of the question. For example, I don't think anyone would give Wanda Maximoff a "normal" job.

If they are investing their time in protecting the world then a salary should be the minimum.

Except unlike Wanda and Pietro who’s Judaism is only genetically though Magneto and neither character considers themselves, or mentions in any way Judaism or Jewish heritage, Billy is blatantly Jewish. He describes himself as Jewish. Dr. Nemesis even knew he was Jewish. AND he just had a Jewish wedding.
