I gave my Epilogue Mimic new eyes

ok so the design Is based off the eyes in @kathegoose 's BioMimic Design. Ka you're a GENIUS! that's such a cool design choice. encasing the Spiral eyes in Eyebals like how the glam endos are.

BUT. despite how cool it looks i'm not really sure if i like it more than the goober eyes (these ones👇). cuz they both look good. i mean i can use the spiral one for my ruin design but that'd not fit in with the "looking more human" aesthetic that RM has idk. what do y'all think?

It Truly Doesn't Matter ✨

I FINALLY DREW SOMETHING! YAY .

So the New TLT Mimic song was, (putting it lightly) GENUINELY PEAK IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME.

The Zoetrope scene in particular was really Amazing to me. Visually and thematically. And I thought it was really so, in classic fan artist fashion I decided to redraw it. But I didn't want to be boring and just redraw the same scene with the same composition no no nooooo. I classic ME fashion I just... Changed the pov a bit. Yeah... I mean it's visually distinct from the other redraws but I'm not THAT proud of it. I wanted to stylize it too but stay faithful to the og design too and that was a pain. I couldn't stylize it. So uhhh i just added ribs. Based off NovaBandit's M2 redesign and I just simplified some pieces.

BUT not gonna lie I love what I did with the colors. It has a really cool feeling that I'm proud of. I might redraw the better machine scene too but idk when.

Also here's an early sketch of when I was laying out the idea

Weekend's rolling around, i've been DYING to draw again and i've been pretty inspired by the new TLT Mimic song. so yeah. hopefully this one won't get canned.

about the anniversary anim, guys i'mma be honest i CAN''T get it done by the anniversary T-T. it's a lot of work and I have a lot of life work too UGHHHHHHHHHHH i'll try to perfect it though. should be done before the summer ends

My 95% accurate Epilogue Mimic model is finally done!

Freaking finally!! It's done! I can finally rest! I have never suffered more in my life while making a model than I did for this one. Mainly the texture work. I legit forgot half of my tricks which resulted in the whole suffering bit. But yeah. I also strayed a bit from the concept art for the body cuz, it looked plain in 3D. But yeah. Designing the body took a while cuz there's literally nothing I could go by. But I had lots of fun modeling this. But not so much fun texturing.

I wanted to stay as accurate as possible but tbh there's nothing to be accurate aside from the head and the color palette. So getting creative with this was fun! (I hate it when people use a clean Ruin mimic instead. Ugh. I hate recolors)

Also that 5% inaccuracy Is the teeth. It's describe as metal but I made it fleshy. Cuz why not. I love the Epilogues I hope they turn it into a game.

i still haven't figured out how to make a good looking Burnt metal texture for him UGHHHHHHHHHHH. it has driven me legit mad. on 1 hand i really like his shiny look and on the other hand i really want it to be book accurate. AND I CAN'T BAKE THE MATS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. i have never suffered more while making a model than i did making this one.

but i'm insanely proud of his head. i made sure to fill it with all kinds of servos and stuff. yeah. have this PFP render till i finish texturing him

so far i'm... not pleased with the body, to say the least. mainly the arms. but we'll see how it goes. the Head is awesome though. very proud of it

What do you guys think of my Nightmare Endo Model?

i tried to incorporate "Automatonophobia" AKA fear of human looking things into his design. but i think i didn't capture that vibe as well as i wanted to. but i purposefully made him slender like this cuz, ngl the Nightmares Remind me more of Action Movie Characters rather than Nightmares. and he's just a system of nerves trying to pilot a bunch of pieces. Nervous systems are Underrated. they make better horror characters than skeletons imo. Skeletons are silly happy guys.
