Before the Dawn || Lucas + Alexander
Alexander took a deep breath as he watched a witch from his car. The leather gloves he wore felt a bit tighter somehow, but that was an advantage on his end. Loose gloves would have cause more of a trouble than anyone would think. His eyes watched the rear view mirror, the witch in perfect sight. He knew a lot about this witch thanks to Travis. He didnāt know how the man does it, but the two of them always manage to help each other out. There was always rules to the way Alexander lived his life and one of the most important ones were make sure to know what he was dealing with. Never kill a civilian. He might be a killer, a psychopath even, but he sure as hell wasnāt about to just pillage every person he has suspicions about. He took a deep breath as he saw the witch pull out a cigarette, right on schedule. This was his time to move.
Without much sound, he took a syringe of sedatives from his back and pocketed it before leaving his car. The lighter the load he had to carry, the easier his job was. A dosage of this sedative would have taken the witch out without any struggle. As he opened the door and a burst of the cold fresh air hit him, he felt a slight pulse in his brain. Of course this stupid flu would act up around now. The sudden shift in temperature obviously wasnāt very well accepted by his body. Still, he pressed on. He looked around, making sure that there wasnāt any security cameras. Thank god for city budget cuts. And like a predator on a hunt, he started to make his way towards his prey.
Lucas had almost sneezed but he held it in. When he found it was about time he nodded his head and then started to move. He was a little bit more brutal than most witch hunters... or hunters in general. Some still had a very humane part to them and well Lucas didn't. Not really, at least. He had started to almost jog, but then he heard something and he knew that if he didn't do something it would blow his entire plan. He saw someone by him, it was too dark to tell who it was, but they were bigger than most, he had squinted his eyes and then he sneezed, not being able to hold it in anymore. He ran and then tackled the person to the ground, getting ready for the kill, but the vibe they gave off wasn't a dangerous one. He rolled off of them. "Are you....?" he looked at all of little amount of supplies and then backed away, but not to run, but to breathe.
The boy was told by his father that there were other witch hunters around these parts and that he should be careful who and who not to trust, but his father never actually gave him names. He sighed now and then examined the older man. He seemed different from the rest, or more the one's he learned about, he did a lot of reading, but he never actually came face to face with one himself until now. It was like looking at a different species; but being of the same one for him. He always was alone when it came to these kind of things, he liked doing it alone, but they had the same target; same person. They've been tracking for a long time, at least Lucas has. He extended his hand, to shake it, perhaps as if they could do it together.
