Hi, I'm Lucas Thompson. I currently reside in Sobek House at Liverpool Prep where I am looking to finish my education to become an architect or a professional photographer. Day 4 - Write a summary of why they are at LPA

Lucas, as the oldest of his family, always tried and succeeded at making his mother proud. He achieved so many things at his school; being on the football team, passing every class he took, and landing the part of Danny Zuko in his school's production of Grease. One day, Lucas thought it was about time to see more of the world other than the same streets everyday and landed a scholarship to LPA. It took quite some time to convince his mother but eventually she got over the fact she'd take care of the kids alone and set him free.

Little Things

Day 3 - Write a single paragraph self para of your character doing something they love

Hands shoved into his pockets, Lucas strolled with a little bounce in his heels down the paths of the campus. What his peers took for granted here was the beautiful scenery they passed everyday on their way to the main building for class. Easily put, they were blinded by the studying, tests, and homework they had to do everyday. He wasn't sure what they expected; it was only natural that school was a tad harder on them than public school. They weren't thankful for any of the great things he appreciated in the school. As far as he knew, he probably only saw five other people who stayed outside just to enjoy the little things the way he did.

He began to whistle a fun tune, something he made up on the piano a few days ago. After a minute passed by, he finally reached a good spot to just sit and watch the world on the grass. He gazed at a couple of boys tossing a frisbee back and forth to each other before turning on the camera dangling from the lanyard around his neck. It was a beautiful thing itself, just as beautiful as the many subjects he took pictures of with it. He was glad his mum had sent him it as a present. He missed her too much it was painful. His younger siblings were growing up without him as well.

Lifting it up in front of his eyes, he attempted to focus on the two athletes before they could shift to a faster speed.

Snap.

He zoomed in to catch a good shot of the frisbee.

 When he checked on his newly-made products, he couldn't help but smile to himself. The quality was amazing. It was as if the viewer was at the scene himself. He couldn't wait to show the kids at the orphanage. It had been quite a few weeks since his last visit. He had to focus on school and take a break for a while. Now, he missed them more than ever. However, he really couldn't wait to show Helena. They hadn't exactly spent some time together lately and he thought he finally had a camera that defined her beauty enough.

He snapped a few more pictures of his surroundings, satisfied once the camera's memory was 2% full. He'd have to delete a few of these later but for now, it was all fine. Opening up his backpack, he pulled out his lunch which the housemother was glad to pack for him.
