Part 1 (x)

With her Mom being the way she was with a broken heart and mind. Memphis always took refuge in helping others. She couldn't bear to see anyone else in pain. Sure, Memphis's love life was a mess, but she didn't give a shit about herself. It was other people that mattered. Through all the weed and alcohol it was a way of self medicating her broken heart.

Shipping, okay it was a problem. So when you watch a tv show and you ship people and have an otp. Well Memphis does that with her classmates ... and teachers. It wasn't a real issue, but she should probably focus more on school work. Whenever she saw a couple in need she would just smush them together as much as she could. 

Allie and David, or Dallie as Memphis called it. She wanted Miss Kitt to be happy, and was going to stop at nothing. She was working on a plan to make them fall in love. Nothing had worked so far... None the less Memphis was not going to be halted by failed attempts. 

Memphis used to not believe in love. Her mother didn't love her, and her parents didn't love each other. How could love exist. Movie love was a lie, everything was a lie. Or was it. Love is real, and love is true and she wanted other people to feel that. If Memphis couldn't have it, everyone else deserved it.

After helping a few people get out of dark places and other people fall in love, she decided what she wanted to do with her life. Memphis Startrie was going to be a therapist. A couple therapist, or just a therapist. She even thought about becoming a high school counselor. She knew this is what she wanted to do. It was what she was good at. 

She was going to college in America, because British schools are better, but American colleges are better. Memphis was going to be successful and then she wouldn't need her mom and she could settle down and get a dog and just be happy with friends. 

She was going to help people everyday and she couldn't think of anything better than that. People's lives are screwed up all the time, and what better use of her time then to save people like her from sadness, and restore their relationships with their families and loved ones.

Self Para (Backstory) || Memphis Startie

Memphis's mother Dallas had a tragic story from the "Dallas" way of looking at it. Dallas had been kind of a heifer, and so she became determined and lost all the weight and layered on cosmetics and hair product to become "beautiful". But when Dallas had been young, fat, and of natural face she had fallen in love. Like every other girl ever, she fell for the jock. Now you know the story, the jocks are supposed to like the cheerleaders and vice versa. But with every football player there is the suppressed urge for the freaky girl.

Roman was that jock, but he couldn't suppress his urge anymore. He took Dallas's virginity and her heart. But he didn't love her back. He led her on for months saying "Baby, I just can't tell people about us yet. I'm to afraid" she believed him. Dallas would do anything for Roman. Once he began seeing the head cheerleading while he was seeing her, she started thinking something was up.

"Shes just protecting my reputation" he said to her. She was hurt but she loved him. He was the only man who was going to love her, so she stayed. Eventually everything went up in flames. Dallas sobbed and then stopped. She turned off her emotions and went to the gym. She became hot and married her best friend, Tyler.

Tyler you see was the best guy friend, with good fashion taste and never had a girlfriend before. He was in denial about his sexuality, and after having Memphis with Dallas their marriage fell apart. Memphis was 14 at the time of their divorce. Tyler left town with Ricardo, the renovator. 

Somehow Memphis always knew her Father was gay, and so did Dallas. They had never really come to turns with it. Dallas was so cold inside from her first heartbreak she decided that being gay was a sin and joined a church that went with her views. Memphis was a rebellious teen, she went to parties, got drunk and did drugs. Her mother never really loved her, but when she was the spawn of a gay man and her mother ... let's just say it wasn't great having a constant reminder around the house of her past transgressions. 

During a semi-harmless game of spin the bottle, Memphis landed on a girl. She didn't really give two fucks, so she kissed her. Memphis kind of liked it but that's a whole other story. Her mother walked in and Memphis knew she was never going to be talked to the same way again. Dallas called Tyler and he was trying to make her more rational but they came to an agreement: to send Memphis to LPA.
