Vampire speed came in handy for many a thing - texting and writing emails was just one of them. Lucian all but groaned as Val was kept in the conversation. His relationship with the familiar was complicated and he didn’t expect Nik to understand it. “We aren’t.” he confirmed. Even if he wanted to. “No.” His phone would be smashed in seconds, and then he’d have to buy another one, and then another because Lucian would never stop.
