This is my second COTL rp blog for my followers of Imora (My goddess COTL Oc ) AKA: @the-sleepydragon

This blog was made to avoid clutter on Imora's blog, and so I could RP with her disciples hehe.

About Us

We're a quiet little community taking residence the Frozen North. Here it snows for most of the year, and flowers for the rest. We are followers of Imora; the dragon goddess of sleep.

Lucid Hollow is pretty new. We used to live in the temple of Imora, but after getting permission from our goddess, we made our home on her ancestral birthplace -which is within walking distance of her holy temple.

Visitors are welcome to stay a little bit, and mingle with the locals (or if you wish to make your home here; you're also welcome too!)

Blog Rules

1. No extreme changes to my character without my permission.

2. No gore. The mod is really squeamish and gets uncomfortable with graphic gore. Mild descriptions/violence is allowed.

3. No time-sensitive RPs. Mod has a life outside Tumble and a full time job and, doesn't always have time or energy to respond to time sensitive RPs.

4. All characters/characters from other fandoms/non-cotl characters are welcome! However they will be treated as if they're interacting in a separate pocket dimension to avoid messing with Imora's canon.

5. Anyone wanting to NSFW rp MUST talk to me first, and be over 18!! I will be asking for age in DMs. Flirty/suggestive asks are allowed for everyone! I will not NSFW RP if I am uncomfortable with you.

6. NSFW rp is now allowed! NSFW rp will be put under cuts and have a #suggestive or #NSFW tag and be marked as mature depending on how intense it is. DO NOT READ if you are uncomfortable with it!

7. I will not always answer asks. The main reason being I don't know how to respond to certain asks, or I don't want to answer it in general for my own personal reasons.

I may also not answer them immediately, but sometimes I'l hold on to asks and save them for later.

8. Magic anons/anon shenanigans are allowed! The maximum asks that will be affected by m!a will be capped at 10

Please do not give me a reason to change my rules.

For a moment the spy considered stabbing Aster and running, but the owl was no doubt expecting it, and would put her in more pain. Lee'sia handed over the pen.

[Aster pockets the items and backs out of the cell while keeping his eyes on Lee'sia. As he fumbles with the lock he's speaking.]

"I hope Lady Imora chooses to spare you." [He says as he pulls the door open behind him.] "Because I like you. It'd be a shame to waste such potential like you.."

[He steps out, closes and locks the door, and before he leaves he looks through the slider and whispers:]

"May Lady Imora have mercy on your heretic soul."

[Then he walks away.]

Lee'sia shrugs.

I was never told. I was just sent.

[Aster would have to do a PSA during the next sermon to keep an eye out for spies. He made a mental note of that, and nods.]

"Alright. Thank you for your cooperation during this. I'll let you rest now."

[Aster takes the paper and rolls it up before hold9ng his hand out for the pen.]

Lee'sia nods again, writing: Gossip in Woolhaven states the frost witch is involved with the Lady Imora, a spirit of dreams. We followed a courier to get here.

"Well that explains how you got through the fog.."

[Aster goes quiet for a moment.]

".. Are there more spies in Lucid Hollow?"

The spy nods, before writing:

All heretics against the Old Faith must be exterminated.

[Aster narrows his eyes, but he has a grin 9n his face, and he chuckles lightly.]

"What venom you have! Your 'ilk' have certainly warped your mind if you think Lady Yngya is the villain."

[He shakes his head.]

"But moving on. How did you discover Lady Imora's existence? Did someone tell you?"

*hands aster a banana and a peach with no further context*

[Aster is grateful for the food and starts to eat both of them.]

The spy writes: Your goddess was discovered to be an ally of the Frost Witch.

"'Frost witch'?"

[Aster hums.]

"So they're targeting Lady Yngya?"

[lucid-hollow]

Are you looking to smooch Sariel while on the fishing trip Aste

"I am, but if we don't that's okay."

[lucid-hollow]

The spr writes: Not much is known about her.

"Yes, Lady Imora has kept herself quite hidden for a long time, hasn't she?"

[Aster strokes the feathers under his chin.]

"But I still don't understand why they want more information on her. It doesn't make sense to just learn more about a - and forgive me Lady Imora for saying this - 'heretic goddess' - unless you plan to do something with said information."

what if he's waiting for you tho?

"I suppose we're both fools then!"

[lucid-hollow]

The spy nods, and takes the pen and paper.

She writes: I wasn't told much, will answer some questions.

[Aster reads the message and nods.]

"Good. Now before you passed out you mentioned that you were looking for information on Lady Imora. Tell me- for what purpose? Why do they want information on her?"

[lucid-hollow]

You should ask Sariel to be your boyfriend 👀

"I would, but I want to give him a chance to make the first move before I do."

".. Though.. it is funny watching him fluster."

[lucid-hollow]

The spy eyed him warily as she reached for the paper and quill, tense, ready to move away quickly if he tried to grab her.

[Aster doesn't. Instead, he puts the pen and paper down on the floor and sits down cross-legged in front of her.]

"Now I know you may feel the urge to fight; to attack me and find freedom, but that will not be a wise idea if you don't want to undo those stitches - especially since I won't be feeling very nice to you if you attack. It would be wise to cooperate. Do you understand?"

Aster, why are you so formal in your letters to Sariel? Why are both of you so formal compared to the letters between your goddesses?

"He's not my boyfriend, so techically the letters are considered 'correspondences between high priests' - and I am formal when I need to be."

The spy stuff started on Yngya's blog I think a few days ago? (I'm time blind y'all forgive me-) and the spy on here started a few days after that :3

Aster, have you had any dreams about Sariel?

"A few."

"And the only ones who will know what they were about are me and my goddess!"

[lucid-hollow]

*A mole waits at the temple while Aster is with the spy.

It carries a letter addressed to Aster. Inside it reads:

I admit I worry about the amount of spies about. Keep your eyes open. I suspect The Old Faith might be planning something. I plan to make an announcement soon about finding missionaries to infiltrate The Old Faith, but our options are limited, as a spirit is quite recognizable. If you could get some people together as well, we can possibly have our missionaries work together. I understand manpower is low during renovations though, so I would understand if you declined.

I am quite looking forward to the fishing trip. Admittedly I'm inexperienced when it comes to being on the water, and would appreciate a list of items I'll need and information I'll need to know so I may prepare. I have already spoken with Aniel, our historian and librarian, and have a few books about the subject as well. By the time the trip comes, I shall be prepared.

I hope you're doing alright. It's quite stressful to worry about spies in our midst. Know that you can share your burdens with me as I have you.

[When Aster is done with the spy he takes the letter from the mole, tipping them for their trouble, and reads the letter in his room.]

[As he reads, he makes a face.]

"What are those heretics planning..?" [He muses out loud.] "And why do they need information on Lady Imora..?"

[His mood does lighten when he reads about the fishing trip.]

[After reading it, he files it with his other letters before he starts drafting a response.]
