I know I usually suggest unrelated boring links or apps but i'd like a little help!
Google wants to make Android stop being open source which means in autumn and in following next year nobody on Android will be able to download APKs, apps from unnoficial sources, etc. (that aren't legally checked by Google) and that sucks, because its the same thing people talked about mainstream streaming apps:
[" If buying ain't owning, then pirating isn't stealing." ]
However companies always make people miserable. The reason why it matters to me is , because I used Android all of my life (btw you do not need to be Android user to sign the petition and/or share the news/link) and as I stated months ago, they want to remove Newpipe and that hurts me because Newpipe is an APK for YouTube that allows easy free download, sharing, NO ads, and no stupid sign ins. I used it since December of 2024 to know its an amazing product and DEVs did all they could by updating it since YouTube was constantly rewriting its code.
