Roman stands, knees popping uncomfortably from sitting for too long. Goddamn, he was turning into Norman. And that was far worse than turning into Olivia. âI donât need it,â is all he says, because fuck acting human. Heâs hungry and has an irate infant to deal with and was truly not in the mood to pretend that it would help him. Not when the woman in front of him needs it far more than he does. Another adjustment of Nadia, the baby babbling happy in response to the woman. âNadia doesnât really like new people,â Heâs being cryptic, even as the baby seems perfectly charmed with the brunette. Roman knows from experience that Nadiaâs happy disposition can change in a second, she had tried to kill Miranda after all. âThatâd be great.â He began to follow the other, praying this little errand wouldnât take long. âSo, how many others are here? That arenât⌠you know, dead?â
-- & Christ !! He's much taller than she anticipated, still he looks so damn young to have a child. Not that she's judging him, if anything she's curious about it. "You're a stubborn guy, huh?" She's not going to push it any further, but she definitely makes a mental note of needing to check in with him from now on, when she can -- to ensure he's taking care of himself. After all, if he can't take care of himself and god forbid something happens, what will happen to his daughter? "Nadia." She repeats the name with a gentle smile to her lips, "It's a beautiful name. Suits her, actually." Another glance to the child, nose wrinkling as she smiles at the younger. "Oh..uh.." Uncomfortable laugh a they exit into the apartment lobby, "Shit -- a lot of us. I can name at least thirty if not more people, then there's those that tend to live on the outskirts and not want to talk ot anyone." Her shoulders shrug loosely. "There's an odd number of kids too."
