Lucinda walked down the packed corridor, bumping into numerous people whilst she glanced around at her surroundings as if sheâd never seen them before. But she had seen them before, obviously. In her arms she clutched several books, three of them were potion books used toâŚ
Lucindaâs bright eyes became the size of the moon in seconds. Her arms shook around the books she was carrying, even letting them plummet to the floor. Again. The dark haired Hufflepuff took a step back. âHow do you know my name?â Taking another step back, she looked around. Not a soul could be seen apart from this strange thing infront of her. Sheâd seen these before in the muggle pumpkin patches, but didnât think wizards had them too. A scarecrow, thatâs it!
The Hufflepuff prefect took another cautious look. âI..I didnât smash any pumpkins. Iâm a prefect, Iâm supposed to b-be setting an example for the l-little ones.â Lucinda stammered In disbelief at the creature, not having a clue what to do. If she ran, it could follow her and sheâd be doomed. âAm I imagining things? H-H-How would a scarecrow know my name? A-And wear the same robe as me. A-And know I smashed a pumpkin.â
