Much to someone’s dismay, Orion had only slept with Laertes and the other Slytherin he hooked up with about a month prior. However, he was quite a natural when it came to kissing. However, kissing Lucius different from the other times, including Belby. Lucius felt natural, like he had been doing this with the man for ages already. Orion already found himself nearly melting into him upon feeling him grip his curly hair. He shuddered at his touch, nibbling down on his lower lip before letting Lu pull away from him. Orion let himself breath, looking at the blonde like he was a dream. Everything felt so perfect until those three words fell out of his mouth. He felt frustration, disappointment, and confusion by his words. He had to take a moment to collect his thoughts and pulled a little further away from Lucius. There was a string of doubt in his mind, followed with thoughts about Lucius playing a cruel joke on him or finding the absolute perfect time for him to experiment. But, he kept his mouth shut. As much as he wanted to ask, the Claw really didn’t want to stir up more drama. Especially when it involved something he could actually keep in his head this time. After these thoughts seemingly passed on by, Orion almost immediately thought of about ten witty remarks that were laced with the perfect amount of sarcasm. But, again, he really was not in the mood to get hexed. So he just sighed, deciding it was best to be mature and rational about all of this. Whatever this was.
“You don’t have to be…you don’t have to label any of it, not right now.” he whispered, giving him an understanding smile. Deep down, he knew almost exactly what Lucius was feeling. “Or…or ever….” quickly correcting himself. “Just go with what feels right for you now, you don’t need to justify shit to me. Whatever this means for us, you’re still one of my best friends. I’m not going to just let you suffer alone, what kind of person would I be? I accept you for who you are now, in the present. Your past and your future don’t matter right now, just do what feels right.”
Lucius only pulled away to take a moment to clarify things in his head and between them. He didn’t want Orion to go further away, which is why he wouldn’t let Orion go too far. Orion’s words touched him in a way that the Ravenclaw would probably never know. Lucius was always a man of many words, talking being his best form of communication, but words were failing him right now. How could one of the only wrong things he could do feel righter than anything else? “You feel right,” he said quietly, closing his eyes as he rested his forehead against his. “I... I have no idea what this means,” he admitted with a slight chuckle.
