I GOT THE SJW AWARD ! today were the senior awards ( only around 30 seniors out of 300+ get awards ) & i got the social justice warrior award ! it was given to me by a teacher close to me & the speech about me almost made me cry ! though i don’t advocate for the issues i’m passionate about for recognition / sjw has a bad rep , i was super honored to receive an award . there’s an up close pic of the award under the cut ! 💖💖💖

#/ ok so. even tho i face racism at school from some ignorant ass whites & at times i'm not strong enough to defend myself !#/ i never think twice abt defending others. i openly advocate for change at my school & always educate others #/ i have defend ppl that have done me NASTY several times when harrassed #/ the speech was like so touching #/ it was like 'this is a student who has faced adversity & become stronger with the need to fight it #/ & her name is karilys m! she has dealt with bullying & harassment & yet has not let it define her.#/ she's an exceptional student & advocates for lgbt+ rights & poc. she's proud of her hispanic heritage & has overcome obstacles #/ she even was heartbroken about bees going extinct & lectured all of her classes on it for a week (which i DID lmao)#/ she is a true warrior & our one & only SJW!'#/ i was sHOOK i almost c ried #/ swear to u that speech had me trembling as i held my award on stage #❥ . ▰ ` ✧ ⋅ * ›› KNOCKOFF LADYBUG ∕ OOC .
