I was inspired by a fanart and some theories about Quesadilla island involving the eggs and time travel so here's a few takes and opinions a theories of my own.
First things first is a reminder that we were told the eggs are not being adopted but baby sat, and merely such. No matter how attached we get to the eggs in theory last I checked the eggs stay is a temporary stay as they are only waiting for their motherly dragon's return. Don't forget this. The dragon. Their fucking mom. Is supposed to return. Supposed to anyways.
What does this mean at face value? Presumably that all the eggs minus Gegg might be related to one another. All of the eggs. Even if they came from a different clutch presumably they are all eachothers siblings. I think this fact gets overlooked big time as the eggs are kinda split up into going off with temporary guardianship who get attached and kinda just adopt the eggs as their own almost at once forgetting they just to keep them safe until mother comes around.
I think this thought shouldn't pushed aside as it makes certain moments... More feels hurty.
Additionally given we are at sector zero, I believe the eggs the goal of keeping them alive, is being used into the mods advantage to prepare later stages of the trial. I do think out of character, the mods /+ Quackity has everything preset up, and or entirely preplanned, just certain events and activities planned out, a point A and Point D, but what points B and C are up to the players to the point they may skip point D and move on to Point F instead.
It's possible why nosier players get punished briefly, they aren't suppose to see the gears as they move into place, only know that they are there.
So in a meta way, this gives credence to the idea the eggs may secretly be spies or agents of sorts to federation. It's creating a notion we know who's in power, they are small and friend shaped. As in way, yes. Yes they are. They keep the server in line, and get to play a role in story that allows them to take part without having to be sidelined and just stick to watching streams to see if someone breaks a rule.
It's sorta like how club penguins wanted to give their mods instead of penguins, the mods were going to be polar bears, they ended scraping this idea, as it would make the mods, aka players who are in charge, stick out like a sore thumb. And it kinda has the same effect here but in a way that's easy to forget they are the mods of the server.
Please keep this in mind that this was cooked up back in July
