I preordered mine in January and it was said to ship May 1st, now it wasn’t a for sure for sure thing but I haven’t gotten any updates about it and I just want my Jason Schmidt record. Just curious ya know

I joined tech crew for my school musical! I am the stage manager and I’ve been having lots of fun

On like the second or third night of Ponyboy being gone imagine Darry comes into Soda and Pony’s room to (somewhat bashfully) ask Soda if he could borrow Pony’s pillow to sleep with. Just to have something that smells like him.

Soda hands over the pillow without a fuss, but he clearly wants to say smth more and is fighting not to. Darry lingers in the doorway expectantly until the dam bursts and Soda blurts that whenever Darry has to be gone overnight for roofing projects far from home or when he goes on ski trips with his friends, Pony also sleeps with his pillow for the same reason.

Even worse! Pony swore Soda to secrecy because he was worried about how Darry would react. That he’d think Pony was being a baby. That he wouldn’t like Pony going into his room and taking his stuff without asking first. That he would relentlessly tease Pony if he knew because Darry wouldn’t understand, that he’d never need or want to do the same and just see it as another one of Pony’s annoying little habits.

And of course Pony was asleep when they brought him home so he didn’t notice Darry giving his pillow back, but the next time Darry has to be away overnight, Pony comes home from school to find Darry’s pillow already left for him on their bed.

Okay guys here me out on this one… The Curtis gang is very tame compared to other Greasers like the Shepard’s or Brumly outfit, but they keep them around because they’re lowkey way more interesting. Like they’ve got some flavor (usually neurodivergence/mental illness) to add to the boring copy paste vibe of the rest of the greasers so everybody respects them well enough. Like sure they aren’t very wild but they can throw a punch and a backflip whenever.

Rudimentary character summaries to better understand how weird their vibe is:

Pony—weirdly smart kid who is simultaneously super childish and a gritty true crime lead

Johnny—scared of his own shadow but has somehow claimed Dallas as his shadow??

Dallas—actually kind of normal but he’s a yankee so he’s funny lol

Darry—borderline Soc who hates all of them but hates his ex more? Mostly just wants his brothers to not die so that’s cool

Sodapop—outrageous flirt and is super emotional which cannot be a good combo?? Also somehow got an evil twin!

Steve—he’s just an asshole who is with all these mostly chill guys and became the evil twin of the nicest appearing of them

Two-Bit—literally could be a menace because he’s got crazy street smarts/skills and is super charismatic, but he’s cool to hang around a 14 year old and stay in high school? I would personally think he’s lowkey a pedophile at first glance…

Also they all do backflips?? And they have a rhyme? Maybe the Curtis gang is just the greaser cheer team??

TLDR: The greasers have adopted the Curtis brothers and Co as a cheer team because they’re fucking weird

Finally hung up my framed gold outsiders vinyl today

So here’s my collection! (Minus my og vinyl, a playbill poster, my clothes, dx keychain, and a non signed playbill) not everything in my collection is official, like my little gold duck and New York Pepsi and anything I made like my sodapop sodapop, but where else would I put that stuff??

She’s a beauty. I got the vinyl when I was in nyc seeing the outsiders and I got the frame for Christmas
