in this scene, i imagine alfred wanted an impromptu anime marathon night but he didn’t know what to watch so he told kiku to choose. kiku is lowkey pleased bc he knew exactly what alfred would want to watch (so predictable) and relieved that he is enjoying it cus the hangout was such short notice.

i was trying to draw the face of kiku’s typical response to most of alfred’s antics/emotions/anything, which is this: “(very kind grandpa laugh)”
