Idk, I just thought the idea of Luffy not watching where her hands go when hugging Koby was slightly funny, but with how it looks in my drawing, the hand placement looks so intentional and not accidental at all. 😔

I still can’t draw hands if you couldn’t tell, but I’m too tired to care rn.

Wanted to draw fem Luffy x Zoro again, but my art still feels like it’s showing no improvement at all.

Maybe learning to colour would help?? I don’t know. I don’t really have much free time like before.

Anyway, I’ve really been liking Fem Luffy x Zoro recently, but I really can’t get the look I want for Luffy right so that’s frustrating.

I drew something I liked in my sketchbook, but if it doesn’t get Luffy’s vibe right let me know.

Absolutely hate this but I’ve decided I’ll post more often and actually try to enjoy art again.

I wanted to draw a fem Luffy egghead outfit design, and since Luffy is a lot like old cartoons, I wanted to draw a bit of Betty boop into Luffy’s outfit since my mom loves her.

Trans fem Koby

Luffy doesn’t know how to shut her mouth, speaking her thoughts freely and leaving Koby speechless.

Am I always changing designs? Yes, of course I am. I have trouble sticking to one thing.

I don’t like drawing Luffy with long hair tho so don’t expect it again, that’s why I didn’t show her face.

Drew some quick Kobylu sketches before going to bed.

Between me and the folks that know me on tumblr, this is actually a main reason why I wanted to learn how to draw. 🫣 don’t say anything tho, it’s embarrassing.

Made some quick Splatoon + Kobylu drawings where the two are talking about their weapons while I’m watching a movie with my little sister

I hate drawing Inklings.

Here’s some Splatoon/One Piece yap that you should ignore.

I gave Koby the sploosh-o-matic because Koby fights with his fists rather than with a set weapon, and because the Sploosh-o-matic is a short-ranged shooter I figured it would match since he has to get up close to his target to do some damage. Far away, the weapon is quite useless because all the other weapons out range the sploosh-o-matic, so you have to be quick in order to get close. That is why Koby would have pure Swim Speed Up gear, which I think makes sense because Koby is a very quick swimmer if his introduction to saving Rebecca and the others is anything to go off of. The special up being the Ultra Stamp is a nice plus, because although many see it as useless, it is very useful but it takes more work to be put in the proper situation. (People think Koby is useless and it kills me, he’s strong I promise, same goes for the Ultra Stamp.)

Luffy has been given the Splattershot Jr. The range is similar to the range of the Sploosh-O-Matic, which I picked because Luffy also fights with his fists so he also has to get closer up to fight another, but he is not limited to having to go close up due to his neat rubber abilities! That is where the Splat Bomb comes in, throw it and it has a great amount of punch, exactly what Luffy has when he stretches his arm and punches someone. For the splat bomb to be at the best of its ability, gear consisting of Sub Power Up to further the range of how far he can throw the bomb, Ink Saver (Sub) because throwing the bomb takes a lot of ink, and Ink Recovery Up to quickly get back the ink that was lost, almost like how quickly Luffy regains energy again just by having food. The special up is the Big bubbler, a shield that sort of reminded me of that moment when Luffy became balloon-like to deflect cannonballs being shot at him and the crew, and the big bubbler is great at defence for a team! The main reason for giving him the Splattershot Jr. is because it’s similar appearance to a water-gun, a childish/fun toy and Luffy has a very fun devil fruit.

I seen a photo of a girl and her dad on Tik tok so I recreated it with Taem and Koby.

Luffy is taking the picture.

And Taem has grown attached to the unicorn pillow and won’t sleep without it, so now Koby is also supposed to sleep that unicorn pillow when they nap.

Might change the colours later because I’m not sure if I like them.

Taem is pretty stubborn and doesn’t like cups of water, but Koby discovered she will drink anything as long as it’s out of her favourite water bottle.

It’s a pretty, pink bottle that she seen in a store with a butterfly on the front, she’s been carrying it everywhere with her.

She kind of looks like Nami to me, which is okay because people think Nami and Luffy look like each other but gender-bent.

Anyway, I tried to use Luffy’s skin tone from a photo but it looked too light. Wasn’t really sure what colour to use.

Doesn’t really feel like Luffy either. Maybe I should’ve made the brown part of the eyes grey?

Anyway, someone tell me what anime girl I subconsciously drew while trying to draw fem Luffy.

Still can’t draw hands though so don’t even look at them. 🥲

I think she just likes the satisfaction of breaking it.

Taem and Koby like very different textures.

Koby would want to make muffins, she’ll want very crispy cookies,

Koby would like to eat berries, she’ll want to have them frozen first,

Koby would make a dish containing cooked carrots, she’ll complain on the fact that they’re now soft.

Koby tries to show her she can’t always get her way, but is quick to crumble to her decision of food.

Sometimes you gotta get real close to get a good look of another person’s face

Especially when they dramatically changed like Koby did

I honestly forget their height difference now, so I might just rewatch one piece altogether so I remember,

Luffy missed Zoro.

To be honest, I can’t really draw people next to each other, so this is some practice.

Luffy likes to admire their similarities, unfortunately it just comes off as a staring problem.

Instead of drawing I should probably be sleeping, but I’m sick and it’s bugging me, so if I can’t sleep I’ll keep practicing art.

Pretty sure sleep helps sickness more than drawing though :/

What does that matter? I wanna draw.

Such little sleep, and I realize staring would’ve worked better than “looking.”

I just realized maybe I am drawing Koby too nicely for what he looked like on Alvida’s ship, but to be extra delusional, I’m just gonna say that’s how Luffy saw her (,it’s how I see Koby. I’m projecting onto Luffy).

Such a cutie either way 😚
