The scent of pine fills your nostrils as the howls echo…
Luka, male, mid 20s, Central European, (were)wolf and coyote nonhuman, awakened in 2012
I use the terms nonhuman and alterhuman; I do not use the term therian and would prefer I wasn’t called one.
I follow from @werewulven.

My username is meant to be read similar to lycanthropy — the Greek word for werewolf is lukanthropos (or alternatively lykanthropos), which very conveniently includes my name, therefore my URL is lukanthropi, with the i read like a y.
My name is Luka, I was born in ‘01 and am a Leo and an INTP-t. I live in Central Europe near the Alps and have always lived a rural life. While I am male, I do consider myself agender or voidpunk to some degree, as I feel like my gender doesn’t fit into the binary and that I don’t even have a gender at times, especially due to being an animal, but still am male. I’m also very asexual but homoromantic, if you’re curious about my attractions.
It’s my absolute goal in life to live in the north amongst the wildlife and fauna with a job that includes that, as I feel like that’s where I really belong — have my own small cabin in the woods away from humanity, possibly some animals such as chickens, and of course, a dog.
I’m nonhuman and identify as a wolf shifter, werewolf, however you may wanna call it (I most often simply use “wolf”). I identify with a common grey/brown wolf pelt, but have at times identified with a darker black-brown pelt in the past, which seemed to be the case primarily in winter as well as sometimes when I wasn’t doing as good mentally. That is no longer the case, and I am a grey/brown wolf as you can see on the photo above, and shift (phantom, mental, and so on) into that.
I also identify as a coyote, werecoyote, or coyote shifter (again, however you wanna call it), with a similar common grey/brown pelt, although I am unsure of the origin of that identity. After being part of the “you are not a wolf” speech in the 2010s community forums, the coyote was the first identity that really clicked instead of the wolf, and I thought I was one for quite a while (aside from the red fox that followed afterwards as well) before realising I have been a wolf for my entire life and that some people truly are wolves, despite how many there used to be back in the day. That identity was very dormant and I only around 2017 started seeing it as a kithtype, but have realised two years ago that it is indeed a second “full” identity. However, it is mostly 1% or less compared to being 99% wolf. Occasionally, I feel entirely coyote instead; both sometimes just switch up.
My identity ranges from being a wolf or coyote “shifter” (theoretically having the ability to shift from “human” to wolf/coyote as an identity; not talking about physical shifting), to a simple wild wolf or coyote living a regular animal life, depending on many factors such as the season, my mood, and so on.
My wolf identity came to be due to psychological and neurological issues; both due to being neurodivergent, but also due to trauma and abuse I’ve suffered throughout my life so far. I used to be a part of the therian community for a long time, but have distanced myself from it as my experiences no longer match it, and due to what the community has unfortunately become with masks and quadrobics (there is nothing wrong with them and I even do like some masks, I’m just not interested in them personally, and find it sad that it’s synonymous with alterhumanity today, while alterhumanity is an identity and not an “act”). However, I still tag my posts as such, as I know therians will relate to them.
Due to just being how I am, I might not interact with posts a ton aside from reblogs (e.g. I might not actively “like” posts despite appreciating and seeing them, as I tend to treat likes as a section to come back to later for cool posts, or I might do empty reblogs with no tags), but you're more than welcome to ask me for advice even in DMs, send any questions, or submit things, as I'll gladly respond to those. I also appreciate any likes or reblogs, as well as follows, of course. :) I don’t use a queue, but instead tend to spam post whenever I want.
