lukas: only child, studying, works part time with father
father: successful businessman, owner of family business
mother: doctor
jumping straight onto it.... lukas was born into a world where most problems could be solved with money, learning from a young age that dedication and hard work can get you anywhere you want to go in life: for that, the nassar family has always lived comfortably in their new york estate, never struggling with money, but always giving back to the community whenever they could
his father seemed to be the one to gas him up with confidence and greed, while his mother always brought him back down to earth. balance. lukas was always closer with his mother, but it was his father that got him onto his feet in the business world and for that he is super grateful. his mother has always been an angel, literally, continuing to put family first and work second.
fast forward twenty two years, lukas loves taking pleasure in the luxuries of life and the opportunities presented to him through the family name. despite his established place in the social hierarchy, lukas is forever wanting to prove his worth and show everyone that he is good enough. perhaps it was his father always pushing him to try harder, or the overwhelming fact that he hadn’t actually earned a single cent in his name… either way, it’s given him a drive that makes him determined to do his best in all aspects of his work.
he never brags. always humble. he will literally bend over backwards to help out those he cares about, and because he’s always working hard and getting good marks, most people see him as the ‘rich guy with a heart of gold’.
he’s a charmer, a sweetheart, and can definitely flirt himself out of any situation. 100% has those stereotypical rich kid / playboy tendencies, he can get a bit rowdy but for the most part he has his head screwed on tight. he can also be pretty shy around new people, but often gregarious and affable otherwise. he’s indecisive as hell, and can sometimes shut down when he’s having a bad day… but sitting down and talking to him, he actually opens up: getting through to him isn’t that hard, it’s earning his trust, (which means everything to him) that’s a bit more tough.
( TW: MENTION OF DEATH & DRINKING ) to the public he really is pinned as the golden child, but behind closed doors, lukas battles his own demons dealing with the loss of his younger sister, aria. the two were very close, shattering his perfect life when she passed away two years ago, and encouraging an alcohol/drinking problem to arise shortly after. when he starts drinking it almost always ends with him sleeping in someone else’s bed, blowing his money on materialistic pleasures and spending the following day in recovery. it doesnt happen often, but when it does, he goes out with a bang.
since his sister’s death, he moved to paris to get away from the memories of new york. his parents are both supportive of his move and help out wherever they can: in turn, lukas continues to study and work for his father’s company from paris, where he has been now for two years
