Had a great time photographing a local band for a charity event a few weeks back.
The venue and lighting made for some really cool images.
Hopefully I’ll be working with these guys on some future projects.

Beckett Fest // 2019
Had a really fun day shooting a small festival at Leeds Beckett SU. There was such a wide range of performances, that all brought a different and unique style to the stage.
Having not photographed at this particular venue for quite some time, it was good to come back and look at it in a different way, and hopefully shoot some different images that I normally would’t.
Hello followers. Apologies for the lack of posts for many months, it seems now.
I am back and should be posting regular again.
A few weeks ago I went and photographed some local football. I am not a sports photographer in any sense of the word, however I set my self a challenge to photograph a football match completely on film. I was unsure of what the results where going to be like as the film I chose was 400 iso film and the weather was over cast and gloomy. So trying to freeze the motion at 1/125 and f/4 on the 70-200mm lens, I thought was going to lead to some very under exposed images. However the results I got where quite surprisingly well exposed.

These guys seem to pull in larger crowds every year, which fill this tiny fishing village to the brim. I felt like close up tight shots of them singing with the harbour behind them just did not do the scene that unfolded in front of me justice.
I had a rather strange experience the other month. I was asked by some very good friends of mine, to photograph their wedding to which I happily said “yes”, which sounds pretty normal. However as they are really close friends I was also asked to be a part of the wedding. This made for a very strange day, as I had to not only photograph the whole wedding day but also actually be part of the wedding. I thought it was going to be more of a challenge than it actually was. It ended up being a really awesome day which produced some amazing images. The image at the top was one of very few of me throughout the whole day, aside from a few when i handed the camera to random family member and hoped for the best.
