“You have a dog? I didn’t know that! Huh, that’s good though– What do you do now?”
“Yeah, his name is Will. Don’t laugh, but I make wooden furniture. Chairs, bed, that kind of stuff.”

“And I’ve never seen you in such a good mood… What’s brought this on, huh? Could it be a girl? Maybe a guy? Or did you get yourself a cute little fluffy bunny?”
“My business is doing good and I do have a dog already. That’s all.”
“I can’t have that happening. Let’s get started then.”
“You’re keen, what’s got into you? But fine– You can take this and I’m gonna’ take this. My car is outside just don’t squish my babies or I’ll stab you.”
“Nothing, I’m just in a good mood. I will do my best.”
sierra-moore
“I think you’re going to need to stop whining like a little bitch and help me or I’ll give the cake and beer to someone worthy.”
“I can’t have that happening. Let’s get started then.”

“That’s true…” She sighed, looking down. “I should come here more often, but I don’t.”
“It’s hard to find time. I know that I should too.”
emily-beckettt
“It’s still not fair that she’s gone.”
“I don’t think it will ever be fair.”

“Well there’s thirty in my apartment, which will probably take three or four car trips. Then an entire storage unit just outside of town which will take me another few days to clear… And then there’s two couches, a ton of shelving and loads of kitchen accessories.”
“I think you’re going to need to pay me with more than just cake and beer.”
–You know, I thought the Christian Grey hysteria had died down, but then I heard some mothers talking about it as they dropped their kids off this morning. If we’re being honest, I really don’t understand the fascination middle aged women have with Fifty Shades of Grey.
“Probably, because their husbands can’t get it up. All they have is fantasies.”
“Oh –hey! Now that you’re here, can you help me set up for support group or are you in a hurry? It’s my first time back here in a while and I’m kind of frazzled.”
“Not at all. What do you need help with?”
“Finally got given the keys to my place… You fancy helping me take a couple of boxes down to Haverford? I’ll pay in beer and maybe cake if you’re really helpful.”
“Cake and beer. I’d be a fool to refuse. How many boxes are we talking about?”
“Sorry… I’ll be done in a second. I just,” Emily brushed a hand over her cheek to wipe away the tears, attempting to clear her vision so that she could finish tying the ribbon around the bouquet. She should have done it before she got to the cemetery, usually she was so organised. But she also should have visited another time when they hadn’t had any plans. Once it was done she placed it on the grave marked Audrey Hale. She hadn’t visited in a long time, and now that she was getting ready to move again, it seemed like the thing to do. “Okay. I’m done, we can go… sorry for being such a sook. I’m not usually this bad.”
“We can stay a little longer. I don’t mind.”

“Not yet. It’s going. Business has been slow lately, but it’s paying the bills.”
“Hey! I could be our new spokeswomen…I’d be good at it!”
“I’m sure you would Phoebe. I’ll set you up for a commercial right away.”

“Made anymore beds yet? How is the business going?”
“Not yet. It’s going. Business has been slow lately, but it’s paying the bills.”
The door slamming behind her might have kept the weather out of the bar, but Dalton Honey carried enough rainwater in her hair and under her shoes to make up for it as she walked across the room to sit on a stool. Placing her backpack between her seat and the bar, she turned around to look at the unfamiliar faces, lost in thought.
Luke was sitting at the bar when he noticed a girl sit beside him. She was soaked from the rain. “Rough night?” He asked with a quiet laugh.

She nodded and linked arms with him as she turned to walk away. “I want a beer. Let’s get a beer aswell.”
“I’ll always go for a beer.” Luke said with a smile as they started walking.
phoebe-beaumont
“T-Thankyou Luke…I–I don’t know. I feel like going for a walk or something..Do you want to go for a walk?”
“We can go for a walk. We can do whatever will make you comfortable.”
phoebe-beaumont
“You don’t have too..I mean–I get..you have plans Luke..Look–actually I’ll be fine. I promise.”
“Phoebe, are you serious? You’re my best friend, I’m not going to let you be alone.”
