Jacob set out a couple cups of tea on the coffee table, adjusting his monocle. He wriggled his cartoonish mustache, checking if he’d forgotten anything. With a snap of his fingers, he remembered. Of course! How else is a lad supposed to stir in his milk without a spoon? Jacob held up his hand, as a silver spoon appeared in his hand. He smiled, placing it next to the bowl of sugar lumps. He adjusted the tablecloth, his perfectionist side showing through. Once done, he reached into his vest, pulling out a gold watch on a chain.

Half past 2… he concluded to himself. Sean’s guest should be here any moment. He stuffed the clock away, and continued waiting for his guest.
