i have so so many thoughts about young sherlock moriarty. just. the series is set in a period of MASSIVE unrest for ireland (just after the famine, just before the easter rising) and like,,,,,,,euuurgh. the fact that we don't know anything about his family very much so makes sense cause. the famine. literally everyone died or emigrated. like it isnt hard to piece together whats he's doing in england. and like. he is SUCH a good actor. this man can lie his way into anywhere. fake charm. CAUSE YOUD NEED THAT IF YOU WERE TRYING TO SURVIVE IN A COUNTRY THAT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST YOU!!!!!!!!!!! and just how easily he slips into an english accent when disguising himself. it seems like second nature. HES SO HDABGCHGFYCGRWYGFCYG

YS Sherlock is so sickeningly queer coded it can’t just be me. Who says “how am I supposed to feel”/“however I’m supposed to feel” after a kiss and then moves on like it never happened?? Not to mention that transition between James and the princess

You can say what you want about James not being gay (even though he’s definitely closeted) but SHERLOCK? That’s a GAY BOY right there

I need to see people talk about Sherlock & Moriarty’s mutual obsession/possessiveness more.

They’re reshaping eachother in very different ways, influencing one another in sometimes very subtle ways—even without realizing it.

I love how much they balance one another out— they’re a scale of justice. One being the grace of mercy, and the other being judgement. You can’t have one without the other, and they bleed into one another.

People I feel, also underestimate Sherlock’s own obsession with James. He’s always pulling him along, waiting for him to catch up to subtle hints. He’s making lures to catch and reel in a fish, you could even say. Always dragging the fish back out of the lake it resides in, (especially at the end when he was baiting James into following after him.) and it always works.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about it but I think about the fact that Sherlock likes making fishing lures a lot in the regard of Sheriarty

We've seen Holmes family drama in the first season, I want Moriarty family drama for season 2. I want Sherlock trapped in the Irish countryside with a bunch of lower class Irish people who Do Not Like Him. He's rich, he's posh, he's ENGLISH. JAMES WHY IS HE ENGLISH?? I want a running gag of James apologising to everyone they meet that he's brought an Englishman around, but that "He's cool, I swear" and Sherlock eventually winning people over by being kinda pathetic and clearly James' favourite little guy. I want a scene of James' mum saying "He smiles more when you're around" or something of that sentiment and Sherlock not really knowing how to cope cause he's Sherlock and James' mum being like pat pat repressed English boy, it's okay, have some soup

One of my favourite things about Sherlock is how he is usually reserved and doesn't initiate physical touch, but he almost always has his hands on companions' back during dangerous situations to make sure they are still with him.
