I understand if some people disagree but one thing i loathe very much every pride month is people saying "happy pride month repost/like/etc to make the bigots MAD BIGOTS STAY MAD BIGOTS DIE!!!" because like yeah thats true i guess but it doesnt feel good that our identities cannot be celebrated without being tied to the way People hate us. as if celebrating us is just another way to dunk on bad people you dislike, not because you care about us first and foremost. so i wish id stop seeing this so often honestly. you dont have to remind me of the hate pointed towards me. So i guess in the end what I wanna say to everyone is: Focus on loving the people you care about even more this month. even if youre thinking, well ,i already love them as much as possible EVER in the whole universe! try to find a new and awesome way to love them even more for me if you can, because we all deserve nothing but safety love and peace

ive entered a different phase of my artist life where i am far more interested in drawing my own ocs and ideas than anything else. i spent a little bit too long drawing fan art specifically for validation and community and i felt very burnt by it in more ways than one. i still like things passionately but now i just keep it to talking+sharing with my partner. i kinda feel happier that way! I didnt like how it felt to draw fan stuff because i started getting this thought in my head that i "owed" other people this art. like i owed them the ability to see it, and i wasnt drawing it bc it made ME happy to see. well anyway the only hard part of everything is, i still want to share my own things quite a lot, im just way too overly ambitious, and also Who really cares? so its hard to. idk do anything for real lol . of course i know nobody will care if they dont KNOW WHAT IM DOING. so i always have to ground myself in that way
